About the NTE Anomaly Archive

The Anomaly Archive is the in-world catalog of Neverness to Everness — every catalogued Anomaly with its official classification code, category, threat level, clearance and the full Anomaly Story. Where an Anomaly is also a boss or field monster, or is tied to an Anomaly Commission, the entry links straight to that page.

Reading an Archive entry

Each entry carries the game's own taxonomy: a classification code (e.g. C-3624[Or]), a category — Organism, Object, Phenomenon, Location or Meme — a threat level from I to V, and an access clearance from Public up to Confidential. The Anomaly Story is the lore the Bureau files on it, kept word for word from the game.

One codex over the whole game

Anomalies show up across the game as bosses, field monsters and Anomaly Commissions. The Archive unifies them under one classification and is the only home for the codex-only Anomalies that have no fight or quest of their own. Every entry that does is cross-linked to its boss page, monster page and commission guide.

Frequently asked questions

What do the classification codes mean?
They are the Bureau's in-game designations for each Anomaly — a letter-and-number code with a category suffix (e.g. [Or] for Organism). The Archive shows each code exactly as it appears in the game.
What is the threat level?
Every Anomaly is rated from level I to level V in the game's files — roughly how dangerous or contained it is. The Archive shows that level on each card and on the detail page.
