Anomaly Story

When painters create their works, they are usually depicting reality. Some take the things that appear in paintings as truth, without realizing that they are merely pigment on a canvas. A certain genius painter grew aware of the deceptive nature of painting, as well as the gullibility of our vision, and began to create wondrous images filled with optical illusions.

An anomaly was thus born on the painter's canvas, which connects the world of art to the real world, constructing a new "canvas" with the spectator's vision. When spectators realize the connection between the painting and reality, they will be drawn into a strange Anomalous Realm, from which they can leave only when they grasp the true nature of the illusion and solve the puzzles within. This anomaly poses no danger.

Spectators brought into the Anomalous Realm merely undergo a dream-like experience, with no effect on their bodies or minds. After leaving the Anomalous Realm, spectators merely feel they "spaced out for a moment." The painter who created these anomalous works of this kind has passed away. His paintings are scattered around the world. All of them possess anomalous properties and draw people into Anomalous Realms from time to time.

Since these anomalies does not cause any substantial harm, not to mention most of the paintings are in private collections, large-scale containment efforts are not needed at this time.
