Anomaly Story

U-5291(Or) Taygedo is an Oddity of unknown origin, taken in by Hotori, owner of Eibon Antique Shop. Its appearance is that of a sea otter wearing a yellow jacket, with its head replaced by a TV where its face is displayed. Taygedo is capable of living in human society, and can understand human language and behavior. It can communicate normally, though ordinary people cannot understand Taygedo's speech. Taygedo possesses considerable knowledge of electronics and machinery.

Its ability to dismantle and reassemble matter, combined with this inherent knowledge, makes it an excellent Restorer. According to investigations, Taygedo's ability has certain limitations. Its power cannot affect matter it does not fully understand, and forcing its use may lead to uncontrollable consequences. Taygedo seems very interested in inventing and often creates unique little gadgets.

Some of these have a degree of destructive potential, but after assessment, the destructive capacity is quite minor and does not exceed the range of daily household items. Combined with the guarantee from the owner of Eibon, we believe Taygedo poses no threat to society. Currently, Taygedo is guaranteed by Eibon Antique Shop and works there as a Restorer.
