Tag-stack scalers

Nanally (Family Business) +0.2–0.3 fons per Main Dish tag, Lacrimosa (Chef Tomato) +1–1.5% per Dessert tag. Scale with menu composition — load the shelf with the matching category to maximise.

Traffic boosters

Skia (Middle Manager) and Baicang (Thriving Daily) add a flat +18 → +27 customers per run. Stack both for ~+50 customers, then multiply by every other modifier.

Owner's Selection specialists

Skia +50% patience, Chiz +1 fons per correct dish (15× cap), Nanally +115% price on hammer hits, Daffodill biases customers toward the top-priced dish, Adler auto-makes coffee, Aurelia adds tips on exit.

Consume-reduction stacks

Every L2 / L3 / L4 of every employee's City Ability shaves another 1% off ingredient consumption — stack 3 employees with their max consume tier for ~9% savings on your ingredient bill.

Daily trends

The Weathervane rotates one trend per day, adding a flat +0.75 or +1.0 fons to every dish that matches. Trends split into two scopes:

Ingredient trends

Flour, Fruit, Coffee Beans — boost every dish that uses the trending ingredient. Coffee Beans hits 8 dishes including all 7 Beverages.

Category trends

Beverages, Main Dishes, Desserts — boost an entire menu section at once. Beverages day = run all 7 drinks + 0–1 fillers.

31 Owner's Selection challenge levels

The Owner's Selection campaign is split into 3 acts of ~10 levels each, paying a Fons range from 100 to 8,000 per clear, for a total cumulative haul of 36,100 → 140,000 fons.

Act 1 — Coffee Master (1-0 to 1-10)

Tutorial through mid-game pacing. Each level adds a single new wrinkle: combo, time pressure, double-hit chains. Clear rewards stay under ~3k Fons per level.

Act 2 — Timing Master (2-1 to 2-10)

Higher-tier events — staffing pressure, themed surges. Clear rewards rise to the 4k–5k Fons band per level.

Act 3 — Pianist (3-1 to 3-10)

Endgame act. Some levels combine multiple modifiers and break-on-double-hit rules. The back half pays 6k–8k Fons per clear.

Where do the numbers come from?

All static data (5 cafés, 18 dishes with 3 levels each, 13 employees with 5-level City Ability scaling, 6 trends, 31 challenge levels) is the game's own — every value matches the live build. The estimated run revenue is a derived figure calibrated for relative ranking — use it to compare menu/roster choices, not as a literal per-day forecast.

How do daily trends work?

Each in-game day, one ingredient or dish category becomes 'trending' and grants every matching dish a flat price bonus (+0.75 fons for ingredients, +1.0 fons for categories). For example, on a Coffee Beans day all 7 Beverages plus a few main dishes get +0.75 fons per sale. The optimizer auto-flags which of your selected dishes match the active trend.

What is Owner's Selection?

A special manager shift in Cafe Origen where one employee's signature skill fires. Choose 4 employees on your active roster and pick the one whose skill best suits your menu — Daffodill for premium-only menus, Chiz for combo-heavy runs, Skia for high-volume patience plays, Aurelia for tip-stacked sessions.

How are employee skill levels (1 → 5) calculated?

Every employee's City Ability has 5 levels, each with the game's own exact effects. Level 1 unlocks the headline effect (price flat / traffic flat / tag-stack bonus). Levels 2, 3 and 4 each grant -1% ingredient consumption, stacking up to -3%. Level 5 upgrades the headline effect (e.g. Skia's traffic bonus goes from +18 → +27 customers). The slider in the roster panel lets you simulate any level.

What's the cake count limit?

The shelf holds up to 6 dishes at once (cake count = 6, hard-coded in the game). The optimizer flags any selection above 6 in red so you can prune before saving a roster.

What's the maximum total Fons from clearing all 31 levels?

Cumulative Fons rewards across the 31 Owner's Selection levels range from 36,100 (minimum, single-star clears) to 140,000 (maximum, comfortable triple-star clears). The Challenge Levels panel colours each row based on whether your current estimated run revenue clears the level's min/max Fons range.

Can I save my menu and employee selections?

Yes. Your café choice, menu selections (with levels), employees (with City Ability levels), trend and popularity bonus are saved to your browser automatically. Use the Import / Export panel at the bottom to copy a JSON snapshot, download a backup, or paste a friend's setup to compare strategies.

Which café should I focus on first?

Until Manager Level 5, you're locked to the Bluebeard Road branch (2,400 base traffic, +1% max popularity). Then Fiscus Avenue at L5 doubles popularity scaling. Davidia (L10), Moomin (L17) and Hankaku (L25) unlock progressively — buy them in order and your popularity tier caps go from +1% → +2.5%.

How is the estimated daily revenue calculated?

Effective traffic = base × (1 + popularity + min(0.4, patience × 0.4) + City Ability flat traffic). For each shelved dish: effective price = base level price + trend bonus + City Ability flat additions + tag-stack bonuses, scaled by tag-percent multipliers and the Owner's Selection employee's active skill. Revenue ≈ effective traffic × 1.4 dishes/customer × blended price + tip income. Daffodill biases 60% of traffic toward the most expensive available dish.
