Sagiri Guide

Kiroumaru's handler is a support, not a carry: a team ATK buff that scales off her own gear, a Scorch DoT amplifier, plus pull, airborne and a near-permanent armour shred. Build ATK on her and the whole team hits harder.

  • As Buffer
  • As Amplifier
  • Control

  • Ease of Use
  • F2P Friendly

Contextual: elite as a buffer, amplifier and controller; deliberately weak on solo damage — that is not her job and not a flaw.

Community read — ZeroLuck tier-vote, Patch 1.0 (live, n=40 votes across roles): Support SS 4.88/5 (17 votes) · Hybrid S 4.43/5 (7) · DPS S 4.31/5 (16). She is one of the rare characters with a genuine triple-role profile: top SS as Support, but also a strong S in Hybrid and DPS — not just a buffer, genuinely flexible.

Trend: in the rolling tier movement she recently shifted SS → S in both DPS and Hybrid, while her Support SS line remained stable. Her core support role is unchanged in Patch 1.0; the DPS and Hybrid roles cooled slightly. Watch the live tier list for the current standing.

Strengths

  • Team ATK buff that scales with HER gear — ATK% = team damage
  • Scorch DoT amplifier: +25% per DoT type, up to +100%
  • Full control suite — pull, airborne, Suppress
  • Near-permanent -10% enemy DEF from her own combo
  • Game-recommended arc + clear stat path straight from the data

Weaknesses

  • Low personal damage — purely a support, by design
  • Scorch amplification needs a DoT / Scorch payoff team
  • Buff uptime is rotation-gated until A5 is unlocked
  • Best arc (Good Boy's Grand Adventure) has no farmable 5★

Gameplay — A Buff That Scales With Her

Sagiri is a selfish-stat support: the better her own gear, the bigger the buff she hands the team. Her loop is control the pack → fire the ATK buff → let the carry cash in.

Why she is an amplifier, not just a buffer

  • Feast of Gluttony — Team ATK buff that scales off Sagiri's own ATK (so her gear is the team's gear)
  • Can I Eat This? — +25% DoT taken per DoT type on a Scorched target, up to +100% (shared Scorch system)
  • Impish Trick — -10% enemy DEF for 20s after Airborne / Suppress, both of which she applies herself

The honest read: alone she does little. Next to a DoT / Scorch carry like Lacrimosa with a Scorch enabler like Baicang, her ATK buff, DEF shred and DoT amplification stack into one of the largest damage windows in Version 1.0 — meet that condition and she is S-tier; ignore it and you only use half her kit.

Skills

  2. Devour Whole
  3. Kiroumaru Headbutt
  4. Squash!

Ultimate

Feast of Gluttony

Suppresses enemies for Incantation DMG and — the part that matters — raises Team ATK (excluding Sagiri) based on her own ATK. This is her entire support identity: a team-wide ATK buff whose size scales with how much ATK you stack on her. Max this first; everything she does revolves around the buff window it opens.

Skill

Devour Whole

Kiroumaru pulls nearby enemies in and slams them down for Incantation DMG. The control matters more than the damage: the pull groups packs for your DPS, and making a target airborne is the trigger several of her awakenings (A2, A5) key off. This is her setup tool — level it second.

Normal Attack

Kiroumaru Headbutt

Basic Incantation melee string. Filler between Skill and Ultimate windows — she is not on the field to auto-attack, so this is low priority. Use it only to bridge cooldowns when she has to stay in.

Chain Skill

Squash!

A swap-in Incantation strike. Contributes only at the instant Sagiri rotates onto the field — lowest upgrade priority, level it last after the three core skills.

Passive

Can I Eat This?

Scorch Enhancement: while a target is in the Scorch state, it takes +25% DoT for every type of DoT effect on it, up to +100%. This is what makes her a universal damage amplifier for DoT teams — the more DoT types your carry stacks (Nightmare, Burn, etc.) the harder this multiplies. It plugs her straight into the shared Scorch system, not a Sagiri-only mechanic.

Passive

Impish Trick

Reduces enemy DEF by 10% for 20s after inflicting Airborne or Suppress — both of which her Devour Whole and Feast of Gluttony apply. A near-permanent armour shred layered on top of the ATK buff, so the team gains on offense and the enemy loses on defense in the same rotation.

Skill scaling — Lv 1 → Lv 11

Real damage ratios (% of ATK) from the in-game codex. Feast of Gluttony is her single biggest instance — and the skill her A4 team ATK buff is tied to — so it stays the #1 priority to level.

Sourcing: every row above is read verbatim from the imported scaling tables in games/nte/data/character-details/en/sakiri.json — fields skills[].scalingTable[i].formatted[0] (Lv 1) and [10] (Lv 11). Her A4 “Wishful Reliance” team ATK buff (+30% of her Base ATK) is a flat layer that does not appear in this table — it scales with her stat sheet, not her skill levels.

Awakenings

Priority: A4 → A5 → A3 → A1 → A2 → A6, then A7 / A8. Because she is a support, the awakenings that matter most are the ones that grow the team ATK buff (A4) and its uptime (A5) — not her personal damage. She is fully functional at A0.

S

A4

Wishful Reliance

Team ATK (excluding Sagiri) +30% of her Base ATK for 20s after Feast of Gluttony. This is a second, large team ATK layer stacked on the Ultimate's base buff — for a support whose whole job is the ATK buff, this is the single biggest awakening.

S

A3

Adhesive Grip

+6% Devour Whole / Feast of Gluttony damage per enemy the team defeats over 15s, up to +60% (resets out of combat). Scales her own contribution in clear-heavy content without changing her support role.

S

A5

Sensory Collapse

Fully restores Feast of Gluttony's Ultimate Energy and resets its cooldown the moment Devour Whole makes a target airborne. This is the rotation enabler — chain Devour Whole → airborne → instant Ultimate again, so the team ATK buff has near-constant uptime.

A

A1

Diffusive Haze

Extends the immovable (Suppress) effect from Feast of Gluttony to 6s. More control lockdown per Ultimate — strong in content where keeping a boss/pack pinned is the difference.

A

A2

Dextrous Separation

Feast of Gluttony deals extra damage to airborne enemies, scaling with the target's mass, capped at 600% of ATK. Pairs with Devour Whole's airborne — turns her control combo into real personal damage.

B

A6

Gluttonous Dissolution

Kiroumaru can devour and digest up to 3 enemies at once in Eating Mode, each timed independently. A control-throughput upgrade for multi-target — useful, but it does not touch the ATK buff that defines her.

B

A7

Insatiable Appetite

+1 skill level to Kiroumaru Headbutt, Devour Whole and Feast of Gluttony. A flat stat-stick — useful at high investment, unlock after the S/A tier.

C

A8

Fog Penetration

+3% damage to a target per negative effect on it, up to +12%. Small personal scaling that does not change her support role — the final unlock.

Cassette Set & Stats

  • 2-piece: ATK +10%
  • 4-piece: +25% ATK for 20s after casting a Skill

Best for her role: her team ATK buff scales off her own ATK, so raw ATK is worth more to her than element damage. She casts Devour Whole every loop, so the 4-piece uptime is reliable.

  • 2-piece: Incantation DMG +10%
  • 4-piece: +6% wearer ATK when a nearby enemy takes Incantation DMG from the team, up to 6 stacks (10s each, persists off-field)

On-element alternative. The 4-piece is still ATK stacking (good for her buff) and ramps in an Incantation team — pick this if you want her to add a little personal Incantation damage too.

Sagiri
SagiriBuff / Control

Incantation · Gas. Team ATK buff that scales off her own ATK, plus Scorch DoT amplification, -10% enemy DEF and pull/airborne control. A universal damage enabler, not a carry.

Lacrimosa
LacrimosaDoT carry

Chaos · Liquid. Stacks multiple Nightmare DoT instances. Her A3 “Molten Ice Cream” detonates the entire Nightmare stockpile on her 5th hit, and A1 “Clock Out Clemency” adds +50% Nightmare DMG Ratio — Sagiri’s A4 “Wishful Reliance” team ATK buff (+30% of Sagiri’s Base ATK for 20s) multiplies every detonated Nightmare instance at once, since the burst rolls Crit independently per stack.

Baicang
BaicangScorch enabler

Incantation · Bose. Drives the Scorch state Sagiri’s passive needs to be active. A1 “Yo, Captain!” adds +30% next-Skill DMG per Silence with a −4s CD per Objurgate, and A3 “Curses Spoken Into Being” raises his Power Word cap to 4 — every extra Power Word means more Scorch triggers per rotation, which keeps Sagiri’s Scorch DMG amplification line active for longer.

Daffodill
DaffodillDiscord / Break

Chaos · Liquid. Adds Discord + Break pressure. A8 “Sunlight and Sanctuary” reduces a Broken target’s Anima RES by 15%, and A1 “Eye” adds +100% Resonance DMG and +250% Break per Support Skill cast — Sagiri’s own A8 “Fog Penetration” (+3% DMG per debuff on target, up to +12%) compounds directly with Daffodill’s Discord, Break and Insight stacks on the same enemy.

Optimal Rotation

  1. Devour Whole — pull & airborne

Open with Devour Whole to group the pack and make a target airborne. The airborne state is the key — with A5 it instantly resets Feast of Gluttony, and it sets up A2's bonus damage.

  2. Feast of Gluttony — fire the buff

Cast the Ultimate. This Suppresses the target and applies the team-wide ATK buff that scales off Sagiri's ATK (plus the larger A4 layer for 20s). This is the window your carry must spend inside.

  3. Confirm Scorch is up

Make sure the team's Scorch trigger (Baicang) has the target in Scorch — Can I Eat This? only amplifies DoT while the target is Scorched, scaling +25% per DoT type up to +100%.

  4. Swap to your carry

Rotate to your DoT / burst carry (Lacrimosa) and dump damage into the buffed, DEF-shredded, DoT-amplified window. This is where the fight is won — Sagiri's job is already done.

  5. Re-loop the buff

With A5, a fresh Devour Whole airborne resets Feast of Gluttony — re-fire it to keep the ATK buff near-permanent. Without A5, weave Devour Whole and re-cast the Ultimate on cooldown.

Golden rule: the carry must spend their burst inside the Feast of Gluttony window — never fire the buff with nobody ready to cash it in.

Should You Pull?

Pull if…

  • You run a DoT / Scorch carry (Lacrimosa, Baicang) and want a universal damage amplifier
  • You want a support whose buff scales with her own gear — ATK% on her = team-wide damage
  • You need control: pull, airborne, Suppress and a near-permanent -10% enemy DEF
  • You value buff uptime — A5 turns her Ultimate into a near-constant team ATK window
  • Boss and grouped content where a long, stacked damage window decides the clear

Skip if…

  • You want a Main DPS — Sagiri is a support, her personal damage is secondary
  • You have no DoT / Scorch payoff — her best passive (Scorch Enhancement) goes unused
  • You already run a stronger team ATK buffer and do not need her control package
  • You are strictly F2P on arcs — her best arc needs a pull (only a 4★ is farmable)
  • You dislike setup-heavy supports — her value is a rotation, not a passive aura

New / casual players: even at A0 a team-wide ATK buff, a -10% DEF shred and pull / Suppress control make every team clear story and mid difficulty faster and safer — no DoT setup required. She is a forgiving, universally useful support to own early.

F2P / low-spend: the character is fully F2P-friendly — her support kit needs no dupes. The only paywall is the arc; run the 4★ Failing You, Heavy in My Heart or any ATK% Gas arc and you keep the bulk of her value, because ATK on her is what the team actually feels.

Invested / endgame:this is where she is genuinely top-tier. With A4 + A5, Good Boy's Grand Adventure and Shadow Creed, slotted next to a DoT / Scorch carry like Lacrimosa with Baicang, her ATK buff, DEF shred and Scorch DoT amplification stack into one of the biggest damage windows in the game. The condition is a DoT / Scorch payoff — meet it and she is S-tier; ignore it and you under-use her.

Bottom line: a universally useful support for everyone, and a premier damage amplifier for players who build around DoT and Scorch. Judge her on what the team does, never on her own damage number.

FAQ

Is Sagiri a DPS or a support?

A support — specifically a buffer, controller and damage amplifier. Her in-game tags are Buff, Control and Damage Boost. Her Feast of Gluttony raises Team ATK based on her own ATK, her Scorch Enhancement passive multiplies DoT on the target, and her kit applies pull, airborne, Suppress and a DEF shred. You build her to enable a carry, not to deal damage herself. (Her data file slug is 'sakiri'; the in-game name is Sagiri.)

Do I need a DoT team to use Sagiri?

Not strictly — the ATK buff, DEF shred and control help any team. But her ceiling is a DoT / Scorch lineup, because Can I Eat This? amplifies DoT by +25% per DoT type (up to +100%) while the target is Scorched. Next to a carry like Lacrimosa with a Scorch enabler like Baicang she goes from 'good support' to one of the best amplifiers in the game.

What is the best Arc for Sagiri?

Good Boy's Grand Adventure — and that is the game's own recommendation in her cultivation data. It is a 5★ Gas arc with an ATK% sub-stat, which is ideal because her team ATK buff scales off her own ATK: ATK% on her converts directly into team-wide damage. Fluff of Finesse (5★ Gas, ATK%) is the best alternative; Failing You, Heavy in My Heart (4★ Gas) is the farmable budget pick.

What is the best Cassette Set for Sagiri?

Shadow Creed 4-piece is the strongest for her support role: ATK +10% (2-piece) and +25% ATK for 20s after a Skill (4-piece). Because her buff scales off her ATK, raw ATK is worth more to her than element damage. Crimson: Twin Butterflies is the on-element Incantation alternative (Incantation DMG +10% / team-Incantation ATK stacks) if you want her to contribute more personal damage in an Incantation team.

What stats should I prioritise on Sagiri?

Straight from her in-game recommended attributes: Incantation DMG > ATK% > ATK > Universal DMG Bonus. Note how high ATK% / ATK sit — far higher than on a pure DPS — because her signature buff is a function of her own ATK. Building ATK on Sagiri is building damage for the whole team.

Which Awakening matters most for Sagiri?

A4 (Wishful Reliance) — a second large Team ATK layer (+30% of her Base ATK for 20s) on top of the Ultimate's base buff. Then A5 (Sensory Collapse) for near-permanent buff uptime via airborne resets, and A3 (Adhesive Grip) for her own scaling. Priority: A4 → A5 → A3 → A1 → A2 → A6, then A7 / A8. She functions fully at A0.

Is Sagiri F2P-friendly?

The character is — her A0 kit (team ATK buff, Scorch DoT amplification, control, DEF shred) all work without dupes. The paywall is the arc: Good Boy's Grand Adventure needs a banner pull and only the 4★ Failing You, Heavy in My Heart is farmable. F2P players run the 4★ or any ATK% Gas arc and still get the bulk of her support value.

Is she worth it for casual / story play?

Yes. A team ATK buff, a -10% DEF shred and pull / airborne control make any team clear story and mid difficulty faster and safer, with no DoT setup required. The Scorch DoT amplification and the strict rotation only matter when you are pushing the hardest endgame content.
