The whole Sea Angler system in one place: the 99-fish Fishing Index, the 10 fishing spots and their catches, the baits, the rods, the skill-level curve and the selling loop. Names and descriptions are the game's official English text.
By Trakan & Irissia··
Sea Angler is NTE's fishing minigame. You cast with a rod, attach a bait, then reel the fish in by draining its Endurance before the line breaks. The collection screen is called the Fishing Index.
Every fish has an Endurance value to drain before you land it. It is the difficulty stat, shown for each fish in the Index below.
Each catch rolls a weight inside the fish's range. Measured against the Bronze, Silver and Gold thresholds, that weight sets the grade of the catch.
Each catch grants Fishing XP. The skill climbs to level 10, with a reward at every level.
Fish sell for Scale Coins. Reselling the same species several times raises its price in tiers, with a limited number of sales at each tier. The listed base price is therefore a floor.
The game places fishing spots at fixed locations, and each one has its own population. Freshwater and sea do not yield the same catches, and most of the big collection pieces only show up at one specific spot. Handy for targeting what you are missing instead of casting at random.

Total EXP to reach each level (max 10).
Each level grants a reward.
Filling the Index pays out at these collection milestones.
Three cumulative achievements track the total number of fish caught, a pure volume goal. Every cast counts toward all three.
50 fish
100 fish
200 fish
Cumulative totals, tracked on the Achievement Tracker.
Achievement Tracker →An efficient approach drawn from the game data. Nothing mandatory, just enough to avoid casting blindly.
The 50, 100 and 200 tiers count your total number of catches, regardless of species or spot. The fastest route is to chain catches wherever they bite quickly, no matter what. All three achievements move together with every line you reel in.
A catch's grade depends on its weight against the fish's thresholds. To aim for Gold, pick species whose maximum weight clears their Gold threshold: the Lightning Eel climbs to 12,500 g for an 11,188 threshold, so it can reach it, where a small fish caps out too low to qualify. A better rod adds a weight bonus that pushes the catch up the scale.
The starter bait bites on everything. The others target a short list of species and raise their odds of biting. To complete the Index, take the bait aimed at the fish you are missing; to farm volume, the universal bait does the job. Three baits point at fish that are not in the game: ignore them.
The Index rewards collecting distinct species at five milestones: 12, 24, 36, 50 and 64 different fish, each one paying out Annulith (the breakdown is in the Levels section). The nine collection pieces each drop at one specific spot only, one per spot except spot 3, so getting them all means making the rounds.
Fishing level goes up to 10 and grants Annulith at every tier. Brace for a wall between levels 4 and 5: the EXP cost jumps from 3,000 to 7,500 in one step, then climbs to 52,500 for the final level.
Reselling the same species several times raises its price in tiers, up to five, with a limited number of sales at each tier. Concentrating your sales on a single species therefore pays more than dumping everything at once.
Nine fish share the maximum Endurance of 15: two freshwater rarities and seven rare sea fish. They take the longest to tire out before the line gives, so save them for when you have a good rod in hand.
The only first-party fishing guidance in the files is a Daffodill voice line, quoted word for word.
“I've observed those anglers who sit by the shore all day with nothing to show for it. The weather, water temperature, conditions of the fish… so many uncontrollable factors can lead to failure. But patience is always a quality a good hunter should have. Your bucket is going to end up full eventually.”
