Fadia Guide

ETD-4's anchor: a Psyche damage-share tank who redirects the team's hits onto herself, reflects them back through Destructive Experience, and converts lost HP into a Lilith burst. An S-tier tank/support — you pull her to keep a carry alive, not for her own damage.

Community read — ZeroLuck tier-vote, Patch 1.0 (live, n=26 votes across roles): DPS A 3.31/5 (13) · Hybrid S 3.75/5 (4) · Support S 4.22/5 (9). Real role flex — voted S in BOTH hybrid and support; raw damage is the weakest axis on her chart, but still A-tier.

Trend: no recent tier shift, she is stable in the current patch across every role. See the live tier list for the current standing.

Strengths

  • Redirects and shares team damage — a true damage sponge
  • Destructive Experience reflects what she absorbs onto the boss
  • Always-on +10% team Max HP, even off-field
  • Lilith ultimate is a damage + heal swing scaled by lost HP
  • Game-recommended arc + clear stat path straight from the data

Weaknesses

  • Damage is conditional — she must be hit to threaten anything
  • Best arc (Eternal Waltz) has no farmable 5★ substitute
  • Destructive Threshold timing is a real skill check
  • Wasted in a team with no fragile carry to protect

Gameplay — Take the Hit, Send It Back

Fadia inverts the usual tank loop. She absorbs team damage via All Eyes on Me, reflects it through Existence's Destructive Experience, then cashes in the lost HP with Agony to Euphoria, so the loop is always apply Existence → tank → burst.

Why she enables fragile carries

  • All Eyes on Me — redirects a share of team damage onto her (75% with A1) before any shield
  • Denial and Plunder — flat +10% team Max HP, no setup, applies off-field
  • Furnace of Guilt — Nova reactions drain enemy Max HP into the whole team

The decision with Fadia is the team, not the build: she is wasted next to durable units, but she lets a glass-cannon DoT carry like Lacrimosa commit fully — meet that condition and she is S-tier; ignore it and her redirect protects nobody who needed it.

Skills

Upgrade priority

  1. Existence
  2. Agony to Euphoria
  3. Wordless Rejection
  4. Outsider

Normal Attack

Wordless Rejection

Up to a 5-hit Psyche combo, with an airborne plunge and a Critical Riposte after a Critical Dodge. Its real weight is the All Eyes on Me layer: while above 1 HP she redirects a share of damage taken by teammates onto herself before any shield mitigation. At 1 HP she stops redirecting and instead spreads incoming damage across surviving allies. This is her defining passive-on-attack — she is the team's damage sponge.

Skill

Existence

Deals area Psyche DMG and inflicts Destructive Experience on the highest-Max-HP enemy. While it lasts, a percentage of every hit Fadia takes is reflected back onto that target. This converts her tankiness into damage — the more she is hit while Destructive Experience is up, the more the boss takes. It is the core of any damage build.

Ultimate

Agony to Euphoria

Enters Lilith state: 6 instances of Mental DMG plus HP restore, then up to 5 follow-up attacks. If lost HP reaches the Destructive Threshold the ultimate's energy fully refunds, and casting above the threshold boosts both the damage and the heal. It rewards taking damage — the harder she has been hit, the bigger the swing and the faster the next cast.

Chain Skill

Outsider

A swap-in cross-shield strike for one instance of area Psyche DMG. Cheap filler and a clean way to land Fadia on the field to start absorbing — lowest upgrade priority.

Passive

Furnace of Guilt

Nova Enhancement: when Nova ends, all allies drain Max HP from the target (target loses 200% of Fadia's base Max HP; each ally gains 10%, total capped at 50%). Nova is one of NTE's shared Esper Cycle reactions — several units interact with it — so this hooks Fadia into a team-wide HP-swing payoff, not a solo gimmick.

Passive

Denial and Plunder

While Fadia is on the team, team Max HP +10%. A flat, always-on team buff that needs zero setup and stacks with everything — part of why she is a value pick even off-field.

Skill scaling — Lv 1 → Lv 11

Real ratios (% of ATK) from the in-game codex. Her main per-level damage payoff is the Lilith follow-up — leveling Normal Attack more than doubles its per-hit ratio between Lv 1 and Lv 11, and it fires up to five times per Lilith state.

SourceLv 1Lv 11
Normal Attack — Wordless Rejection (hit)43.3%93.5%
Wordless Rejection — Lilith follow-up (×5)178%384.3%
Ultimate — Agony to Euphoria (energy refund)0.2%0.3%
Chain Skill — Outsider200%431.8%

Existence is pure debuff duration (15s flat), and her three passives — Furnace of Guilt, Denial and Plunder, Queen Charming — are utility / HP-scaling effects with no per-level damage row, so they are not surfaced here.

Awakenings

Priority: A2 → A3 → A1 → A4 → A5 → A6, then A8 / A7. She is fully functional at A0 — awakenings raise her ceiling, they do not gate her job. A2 is the biggest damage jump; A3 multiplies the entire HP-scaled kit at once.

S

A2

Instinct

Destructive Experience damage ratio raised to 600% and its cap to 25% of Fadia's Max HP, and the remaining capped damage is dealt instantly when it is removed. This is the single biggest damage spike — it is what makes her a real damage threat, not just a sponge.

S

A3

Curser of Blessings

+30% base Max HP on entering combat (lost on leaving). Every redirect, share, drain and Destructive Experience scales off her Max HP — this multiplies her entire kit at once.

A

A1

Apostate

Damage redirect ratio raised to 75%. She soaks far more of the team's incoming damage — a large team-survival jump and, with Existence up, more reflected damage too.

A

A4

Breaker of Taboos

Lilith healing raised to 30% of Max HP (60% above the Destructive Threshold). Turns her ultimate into a heavy self / team sustain button on top of the damage.

B

A5

Survivor of Death

+50% CRIT Rate while in Lilith state. Only matters on an offensive Lilith build — strong there, dead weight on a pure tank build.

B

A6

Bringer of Love and Death

Inflicts Destructive Experience on up to 10 targets, each tracked individually. A major AoE damage upgrade — situational but huge in grouped content.

C

A8

The Unified Saint

+10% ATK to all team members while Fadia is on the team. A small, free team buff — nice, but the lowest-impact node on her chart.

C

A7

The Disrespecting Saint

+1 skill level to Wordless Rejection, Existence and Agony to Euphoria. A flat stat-stick — unlock last.

Cassette Set & Stats

  • 2-piece: Psyche DMG +10%
  • 4-piece: +18% DMG, raised to +36% against units affected by Nova or Stain

Tailor-made for her: the 2-piece amplifies her element, and the 4-piece's Nova condition is met by her own Furnace of Guilt passive — the +36% line is reliably live, not theoretical.

  • 2-piece: ATK +10%
  • 4-piece: +25% ATK for 20s after casting a Skill

Generic offensive fallback for an offensive Lilith build. Safe while farming Devil's Blood, but it ignores her Nova synergy entirely.

Best Team

ETD-4 Damage-Share LineBest anchor value · 1.0 meta
Fadia
FadiaTank / Damage Share

Psyche · Bose. Redirects and shares the team's incoming damage, reflects it back through Destructive Experience, and turns lost HP into a Lilith burst. The ETD-4 anchor that keeps the line alive while still threatening damage.

Baicang
BaicangMain DPS / Scorch

Incantation ETD-4 captain. When Fadia drops below 20% HP his passive auto-attacks the enemy and generates a Power Word — and his A2 Soul Caller then converts every Power Word into +6% ATK (stacking to 4 stacks, 10s each). Fadia tanking is literally what feeds his +24% ATK ceiling in this team. Pair it with A1 Yo, Captain! (+30% next-Skill DMG per Silence trigger) and her damage soak directly powers his damage cycle.

Skia
SkiaETD-4 synergy

Lakshana ETD-4 member. Fadia's damage-share buys him the time to ramp his Tailed window — his A4 Resolution extends Tailed to 12s and adds +2% Attachment DMG per second a target is attached, up to +40%. Without a tank line, Skia rarely reaches that cap; with Fadia, the +40% ceiling is the default.

Lacrimosa
LacrimosaDoT carry

Chaos DoT carry. Her A2 Rise and Shine grants +15% damage for 15s whenever she swaps in via Support Skill — perfect for an ETD-4 line where Fadia tanks, rotates her out, and Lacrimosa enters at full damage. Her A4 Almighty Lord of Tomatoes also extends Nightmare to 6s, giving the DoT ramp time to land before swaps. See the Lacrimosa Team guide for the full swap timings.

Optimal Rotation

  1. Open with Existence

Land Existence on the highest-Max-HP enemy (the boss) to put Destructive Experience up. Every hit Fadia takes from now reflects onto it — this must be active before you start tanking.

  2. Tank on purpose

Stay on field and let her soak. All Eyes on Me redirects a share of team damage onto her (75% with A1), and that absorbed damage is exactly what feeds Destructive Experience's reflect.

  3. Cash in with Agony to Euphoria

Once lost HP reaches the Destructive Threshold, cast the ultimate. The energy fully refunds and both the damage and heal are boosted — the harder she was hit, the bigger this swing.

  4. Lilith follow-ups

In Lilith state, recast Wordless Rejection for up to 5 Mental-DMG follow-ups (A5 adds +50% CRIT Rate here). Don't use her other skills mid-state — they end Lilith early.

  5. Reset and protect

Re-apply Existence, keep redirecting, and use Nova windows (Furnace of Guilt) to drain enemy Max HP into the team. Repeat — she is a sustained anchor, not a one-shot.

Golden rule: Destructive Experience must be up before you start tanking — never absorb for free.

Should You Pull?

Pull if…

  • You want a tank that converts the team's incoming damage into boss damage
  • You run a fragile carry (DoT / burst) that needs a damage sponge to commit
  • You have or plan an ETD-4 line — Baicang's passive rescues and rewards her tanking
  • You like an HP-scaling, take-the-hit-on-purpose playstyle
  • You want a unit whose +10% team Max HP value applies even off-field

Skip if…

  • You want a pure damage dealer — her damage is conditional on being hit
  • You already run a strong shielder and have no fragile carry to protect
  • You are strictly F2P on arcs — Eternal Waltz needs a pull, only a 4★ is farmable
  • You dislike reactive play — her kit revolves around timing the Destructive Threshold

New / casual players: a redirect that soaks team damage plus a self-healing ultimate makes Fadia an unusually forgiving anchor. Her A0 kit lets you brute-force story and mid difficulty — a safe pull if you want survivability.

F2P / low-spend: the character is worth it; the signature arc is the paywall. Run The Good, The Bad, The Bitter (4★, farmable, HP% sub-stat) and you keep the redirect, the team HP buff and the reflect — the large majority of her value.

Invested / endgame:this is where she pays off. A2 more than doubles Destructive Experience and A3 multiplies her whole HP-scaled kit; with Eternal Waltz and Devil's Blood she is a top-tier ETD-4 anchor whose damage-share lets fragile carries commit fully. The condition is having a carry that needs protecting — meet it and she is S-tier, ignore it and her redirect protects nobody.

Bottom line: a forgiving anchor for everyone, and one of the best enablers of glass-cannon teams for invested players. Her weakness is conditional, not fundamental.

FAQ

Is Fadia a tank or a DPS?

Both, layered. Her base job is a damage sponge — All Eyes on Me redirects a share of the team's incoming damage onto her, and Denial and Plunder gives the team +10% Max HP. But Existence reflects the damage she takes back onto the boss, and Agony to Euphoria converts lost HP into a burst. You tank on purpose to deal damage; the more she is hit, the more she does.

Is Fadia worth pulling as a 5★?

Yes, if you have a fragile carry to protect. A0 already gives the redirect, the team HP buff, the reflect and the Lilith burst — a complete kit. She turns squishy DoT / burst carries into safe, aggressive options, which is exactly the niche the ETD-4 line is built around.

What is the best Arc for Fadia?

Eternal Waltz — and that is the game's own recommendation in her cultivation data, a 5★ Bose arc with an HP% sub-stat. Her whole kit scales off Max HP, so HP% is mandatory. Fluff of Ferocity (5★ Bose, ATK%) is the alternative only for an offensive Lilith build; The Good, The Bad, The Bitter (4★ Bose, HP%) is the farmable budget pick.

What is the best Cassette Set?

Devil's Blood: Curse 4-piece. The 2-piece is Psyche DMG +10% (her element); the 4-piece is +18% DMG, doubled to +36% against units affected by Nova or Stain — and her own Furnace of Guilt passive is a Nova interaction, so the condition is reliably met. Shadow Creed (ATK +10% / +25% ATK after Skill) is the generic alternative.

What stats should I prioritise?

Straight from her in-game recommended attributes: HP% > HP. Everything in her kit — redirect, share, drain and Destructive Experience reflect — scales off Max HP, so you stack HP first. CRIT becomes relevant only on an A5 offensive Lilith build.

Which Awakening matters most?

A2 (Instinct) is the biggest damage spike — it more than doubles Destructive Experience's ratio and cap and dumps the remainder instantly. A3 (+30% Max HP in combat) multiplies the entire kit. Priority: A2 → A3 → A1 → A4 → A5 → A6, then A8 / A7. She is fully functional at A0.

What is Nova Enhancement on Furnace of Guilt?

Nova is one of NTE's shared Esper Cycle reactions — not a Fadia-specific mechanic. Multiple characters interact with it. Furnace of Guilt hooks Fadia into that shared system: when a Nova reaction ends, the whole team drains Max HP from the target. It is a team-wide payoff, which is why she rewards a team that can trigger Nova.

Is she worth it for casual / story play?

Yes. A redirect that soaks team damage plus a self-heal ultimate makes story and mid difficulty very forgiving — she lets you brute-force fights you'd otherwise have to play carefully. The Destructive Threshold timing and ETD-4 synergy only matter when you push the hardest endgame content.
