Gameplay — Power Words & Judgment of Autumn

Baicang runs a small resource economy. His attacks and Skill generate Power Words — Bless, Silence and Objurgate — capped at 3 (4 with A3). The domain ultimate then converts that stockpile into damage, so the loop is always build words → open domain → cash in.

Why he is also an enabler

Releases a domain and enters the Power Word state, dealing Incantation DMG over time and executing targets below 10% HP (5% for Bosses). Briefly grants immunity to one fatal hit, records its value, and pays that damage back slowly over 10s — a built-in safety net. Triggering Silence inside the domain converts into high single-target damage. This is the payoff button: build Power Words first, then open the domain.

Incantation attack with two Redirect branches: after a dodge it becomes Silenced Thought (single target, generates Power Word Silence); after Formless/Unrestrained Words it becomes Such Crime (AoE, generates Power Word Objurgate near the target). This is your main Power Word engine and, in an ETD-4 team, your Scorch Esper-Cycle trigger.

Every 3 hits generates a Power Word Bless (max 3, 15s) at the cost of 3% current HP — halved below 50% HP. Attack uptime literally builds your Power Word economy.

Scorch Enhancement: when a Power Word is generated on a target already affected by Scorch, it inflicts a second instance of that same Scorch. This plugs Baicang into NTE's shared Scorch system — the same mechanic DoT teams (e.g. Lacrimosa) are built around — which is why he is one of the best Scorch enablers in the game, not only a solo carry.

  1. Seed Power Words

    Open with Walk the Talk. Every 3 hits generates a Bless; weave Generous Guidance after a dodge (Silenced Thought → Silence) or after Formless/Unrestrained Words (Such Crime → Objurgate). Target 3 (or 4 with A3) Power Words before the domain.

  2. Generous Guidance — load Silence/Objurgate

    Make sure your last Skill placed a Silence and an Objurgate up. In an ETD-4 team this Skill cast is also your Scorch Esper-Cycle trigger — fire it on-cycle.

  3. Judgment of Autumn

    Open the domain. DoT starts ticking, sub-10% (boss 5%) targets are executed, and you gain the one-hit fatal-immunity safety net. With A1, every Silence here ramps your next Skill +30%; with A2, ATK keeps stacking.

  4. Sustain the domain

    Keep attacking and re-trigger Silence/Objurgate inside the window. Recast Generous Guidance as A1 cuts its cooldown on Objurgate. Hold the domain for its full 13s (16s with A5).

  5. Carry or hand off
