7DSO Beginner & Progression
Your starting point: reroll, first team, progression order — targets from real usage (refreshed 2026-05-19).
The 7DS: Origin entry guide: should you reroll, for whom, what first team, what progression order, what to farm. Reroll targets are not an opinion — they are the most-played heroes across 212 real community teams (refreshed 2026-05-19). The progression order is our editorial reading, consistent with the End-Game guide and clearly labelled.

The whole guide in five lines
1 — Reroll: optional but worth it early. Aim for a top-usage hero below (the ones the community actually builds around), not a random name.
2 — First team: the proven meta core is carry + crit-support + battery. The Meta Report hub and the team guides give you the real comp, not an opinion.
3 — Progression order: take ONE carry all the way before spreading. Follow the order below (consistent with the End-Game guide).
4 — What to farm: decide the upgrade first, then farm the highest-rate source. See the material farming guide.
5 — Where next: this guide ties everything together — hero guides, team guides, meta, farming, end-game. Start here.
Should you reroll, and for whom
Targets = the most-played heroes in real teams, not an opinion.
Rerolling is optional but cheap early. The right target is not a subjective take: it is the heroes the community actually plays most across 212 teams (refreshed 2026-05-19). Landing one early aligns your account with the real meta from the start.
Data-driven list below. Heroes with a dedicated team or hero guide are linked directly in the tools — start from their page.
Your first team
The real meta core, not a tier-list opinion.
The real meta, proven from several angles in our team guides, is a stable core: a carry + a crit-support + a battery + a utility body. You do not have to guess it — the Meta Report hub aggregates live usage, and each team guide explains the mechanical why.
As a beginner: aim for that core with whatever you get; free SRs (see their hero guides) hold the support slots until your SSRs arrive.
What order to progress in
Editorial order, consistent with the End-Game guide — do not spread thin.
The golden rule: concentrate resources on ONE carry and its core before broadening. Spreading thin finishes nothing.
The order
- 1 · One carry, all the way — Pick a top-usage carry and raise its main weapon path (skills, mastery, potential) before anything else.
- 2 · The support core — Add the crit-support + battery of the real meta (see the team guides). That is what makes the carry work.
- 3 · The gear — Gear set + weapon for the carry via community builds; do not scatter gear across six heroes.
- 4 · End-game content — Once the core holds, follow the detailed order in the End-Game guide (world levels, modes, etc.).
What to farm (and what to avoid)
Sink-first method — detailed in the material farming guide.
Never farm "materials" in the abstract. Decide the precise upgrade (a carry's mastery/potential, a craft), read its exact bill, then farm only the highest-rate repeatable source — not 3% monster drops. The material farming guide details the full method.

The cluster map
It is all linked — here is where to continue.
The cluster
- Meta Report — The dated overview of who is actually played — start there for context.
- Team guides — The real comp per carry, with rotation and the mechanical why.
- Hero guides — Every hero's full kit (3 weapon paths, potentials).
- Material farming & end-game — How to feed and progress the core efficiently.
