Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Daisy Book Crit-Support Team — Team Guide

Daisy on the Book is not a carry — she is one of the cleanest crit-amplification supports in 7DS: Origin: +15% team Crit Damage, −50% enemy Crit Defense on her Ultimate, and a passive that strips enemy Crit Resistance. So the team is not built around her damage — it is built around a carry she multiplies. This guide takes the comp straight from what the community actually runs with Daisy (the 30 most-popular live Daisy teams), then explains every pick with the heroes' own kit data.

The short version

The team people actually run — and why it works

Reality first: across the 30 most-popular community Daisy teams, 29 run her on the Book, and the partners are overwhelmingly Mannie (26/30), Meliodas (21/30, almost always his One-Handed Sword) and Guila (10/30). Daisy is the support; Meliodas is the carry she exists to amplify; Mannie is the universal battery. This is a carry team with Daisy as the crit engine, not a Daisy-damage team.

The kit explains it exactly. Daisy Book stacks +15% team Crit Damage (Shocking Awakening), her Ultimate Fruit Barrage strips 50% of the enemy's Crit Defense for 10 sec, and her passive Static Charge applies Electromagnet (lowered Crit Resistance). Meliodas Sword1h is a Darkness-Burst crit/Haste carry whose Blazing Cross deals 449% and +100% versus Darkness-Burst targets — a hero whose entire payload scales with exactly the crit Daisy hands out. Mannie resets cooldowns and refills Magic for the whole team.

So the flagship is Meliodas (Sword1h, carry) + Daisy (Book) + Mannie (Staff) + Guila (Shield/Rapier). Run it if you own Daisy on the Book — it is the real, most-played configuration. Daisy's raw Combined-Attack table is covered honestly lower down, but it is not how she is played: she is a support, and the usage data proves it.

  • #1 partner (live data)Mannie26 of 30 popular Daisy teams.
  • The carry she enablesMeliodas21 of 30 — almost always Sword1h.
  • Fire / 3rd supportGuila10 of 30 — team Fire + Fire-Burst.

Strengths

  • Built from real usage: the 30 most-popular live community Daisy teams, not a tier-list opinion.
  • Every pick is justified by the partner's own kit data, not vibes.
  • Daisy Book is a triple crit-amplifier: +15% team Crit Damage, −50% enemy Crit Defense (Ultimate), −Crit Resistance (Electromagnet passive).
  • Meliodas Sword1h is the carry the data pairs her with: Blazing Cross 449% and +100% vs Darkness-Burst — a payload that scales directly with Daisy's crit.
  • Mannie (26/30) resets all allies' Normal Skill cooldowns and refills Magic — the universal battery behind both Daisy and the carry.
  • The core (Daisy + Mannie + Meliodas) is well-tested: it appears together across most popular Daisy teams.

Weaknesses

  • Daisy-Book-only — her Sword & Shield (Earth carry) and Wand paths are different kits and not this support role.
  • She does almost no damage herself — if you want a Daisy carry, this is the wrong build (use her Shield path instead).
  • Three SSRs in the core (Daisy, Mannie, Meliodas) — an invested-account team.
  • The payoff is the carry's: a weak Meliodas (or whichever carry) means Daisy's buffs amplify a small number.
  • Her Combined-Attack table looks tempting but is not how she is played — do not build her as a combo-payload piece.

What people actually run with Daisy

Not a tier-list guess — the partner distribution across the 30 most-popular live Daisy teams.

Pulled from the live community team feed: 29 of the 30 most-popular Daisy teams run her on the Book. Inside those teams the usage is unambiguous — Mannie 26, Meliodas 21 (almost always his One-Handed Sword, 20 of those), Guila 10, then Escanor 7, Diane 6, Gilthunder 4. Daisy herself does no carrying here; she is the crit-support, and the team is shaped around the carry she boosts.

That is the kit talking, not a tier list. The next sections show, member by member, exactly why each pick is there — all from the heroes' own in-game data.

Daisy partner usage (live popular teams, this is the meta)

  • Mannie — 26 / 30The universal battery: resets all allies' Normal Skill cooldowns + refills Magic. Same role as in the Escanor meta.
  • Meliodas — 21 / 30The carry Daisy enables — almost always Sword1h (20/30). His crit/Darkness-Burst payload scales with her buffs.
  • Guila — 10 / 30Fire support / Fire-Burst (Shield 5, Rapier 3, Lance 1).
  • Escanor / Diane / Gilthunder — 7 / 6 / 4The real alternative carries Daisy is run with when not Meliodas.
The subject · the support (29/30 Book)

Daisy — the crit-amplification engine

Why she is a support here, and exactly what she multiplies.

Daisy on the Book is a Thunder Supporter whose entire value is making a crit carry hit harder. Shocking Awakening increases all allies' Crit Damage by 15% for 40 sec on a short 8.4s cooldown. Her Ultimate, Fruit Barrage, deals 178% and decreases enemy Crit Defense by 50% for 10 sec — a massive crit-burst window. Her passive Static Charge applies Electromagnet on Normal Attacks (lowering the enemy's Crit Resistance for 40 sec) and her Summon Shocking Streetlamp grants allies Electric Charge.

Three separate crit levers — +Crit Damage on the team, −Crit Defense on the enemy, −Crit Resistance on the enemy — is why she is run as a support and never as the damage. Build her for uptime and survivability, not personal damage; the numbers on the scoreboard are the carry's.

Daisy Book — the support kit (in-game data)

  1. FirstShocking Awakening!CD 8.4s · 54 MP

+15% allies' Crit Damage for 40 sec — the core team buff, short cooldown.

  2. SecondSummon Shocking StreetlampCD 12s · 181 MP

Summons a lamp for 20 sec; every 5 hits grants allies Electric Charge.

  3. UltimateFruit Barrage!CD 10s

178% and −50% enemy Crit Defense for 10 sec — the burst window.

  4. PassiveStatic Charge

Normal Attacks apply Electromagnet (−Crit Resistance) for 40 sec; +20% Streetlamp damage vs Electromagnet enemies.

Slot · the carry (21/30)

Meliodas — the carry Daisy is built to amplify

Almost always his One-Handed Sword; a crit/Darkness-Burst payload that loves her buffs.

In 21 of 30 popular Daisy teams the carry is Meliodas, and in 20 of those it is his One-Handed Sword. On the Sword1h he is a Dark Attacker built on Haste and Darkness Burst: Abyssal Dash grants Haste and resets its cooldown against a Darkness-Burst enemy, Chain Attack deals 286% (cooldown cut per Haste stack on Darkness-Burst targets), and his Ultimate Blazing Cross deals 449% with +100% damage versus Darkness-Burst enemies. That payload is exactly the kind of single big crit-hit that Daisy's +15% Crit Damage / −50% Crit Defense / −Crit Resistance stack multiplies hardest.

This is why the pairing is the meta and not the abstract Combined-Attack table: Daisy + Meliodas is a crit-support → crit-carry pipeline that the playerbase converged on because the kits line up, slot for slot.

Slot · #1 partner (26/30)

Mannie — the universal battery

The single most-used Daisy partner, for the same reason she anchors the Escanor meta.

Mannie on the Staff is in 26 of 30 popular Daisy teams — even more dominant here than in the Escanor meta. Her Ultimate, Flash Explosion, resets the Normal Skill cooldowns of all allied heroes (Daisy re-casts Shocking Awakening to keep +15% Crit Damage pinned, and the carry refreshes too). Her passive Dragon Priestess restores 15 Magic Gauge on Normal Attacks and adds +30% Ultimate Move damage versus a Punishment-affected enemy; Priestess's Blessing grants allies +30% Crit Damage and +25% Magic Charging Efficiency.

Stacked with Daisy: Mannie's +30% Crit Damage on top of Daisy's +15% team Crit Damage, plus cooldown resets that keep both supports' buffs permanently up. The two-support core is the backbone the carry sits on.

Mannie Staff — why she is the #1 pick (in-game data)

  1. FirstPriestess's Blessing

Allies gain Draco Priestess: +30% Crit Damage and +25% Magic Charging Efficiency for 15 sec.

  2. UltimateFlash Explosion

Resets the Normal Skill cooldowns of all allied heroes — Daisy and the carry re-cast immediately.

  3. PassiveDragon Priestess

Normal Attack restores 15 Magic Gauge; +30% Ultimate Move damage vs a Punishment-affected enemy.

Slot 4 · Fire support & flex (10/30)

Guila — Fire support, plus the real flex options

The fourth most-used pick, and the alternative carries the community actually rotates in.

Guila is in 10 of 30 popular Daisy teams (Shield 5, Rapier 3, Lance 1). She is all-Fire utility: her Shield passive Burning Protection grants the whole team +30% Fire damage while her self-barrier is up, her Shield Ultimate makes enemies take +20% Fire, and her Rapier applies Burn / Fire Burst. She is the flex/utility slot when the carry is Fire-leaning, or simply a durable Taunt body on Shield.

If you do not run Guila, the live data shows the real alternatives are not random — Escanor (7), Diane (6) and Gilthunder (4) are the other carries Daisy is genuinely paired with. Pick by who you own and what element your carry is; the team builder below lets you test the slot. This flex reasoning is editorial over public kits — the Daisy + Mannie + carry core is what the usage data dictates.

Slot 4 / alt carry — the real options (live usage order)

  • Guila — 10/30Fire support: +30% team Fire (Shield barrier), +20% Fire taken, Burn/Fire-Burst (Rapier).
  • Escanor / Diane / Gilthunder — 7 / 6 / 4The actual alternative carries Daisy is run with when not Meliodas.
  • Not a raw combo pickThe choice follows the carry's element and your roster, not Daisy's Combined-Attack numbers.
Execution

Team rotation

Every step uses only mechanics written in the heroes' in-game data.

The sequence layers Daisy's three crit levers under the carry's burst. Nothing here is a fabricated number — each effect is the one listed on the skill.

Opening → burst

  • 1 · Daisy pre-buffsCast Shocking Awakening (+15% team Crit Damage, 40 sec) and auto-attack to apply Electromagnet (−enemy Crit Resistance) via Static Charge.
  • 2 · Mannie buffsPriestess's Blessing (+30% Crit Damage, +25% Magic Charging) and apply Punishment for her +30% Ultimate-damage passive.
  • 3 · Carry sets upMeliodas builds Haste / applies Darkness Burst so Blazing Cross's +100% condition is live (mirror this for whichever carry you run).
  • 4 · Daisy opens the windowFruit Barrage strips 50% enemy Crit Defense for 10 sec — the deepest part of the crit window.
  • 5 · Mannie resetsFlash Explosion resets Normal Skill cooldowns — Daisy re-pins Shocking Awakening, the carry refreshes its rotation.
  • 6 · Carry dumpsInside the −50% Crit Defense / −Crit Resistance / +45% Crit Damage stack, the carry fires its big Ultimate (Meliodas Blazing Cross 449% +100% vs Darkness Burst).

What Daisy's Combined-Attack table says — and why the meta differs

Reconciling the raw data numbers with what is actually played.

For completeness: Daisy does have a Combined-Attack table (13 pairwise entries, 7 verified 3-hero combos). By raw payload that table would point at high-number partners, the same way Escanor's pointed at Drake/Howzer.

But the live usage is the correction, and it is consistent with the lesson from the Escanor guide: Daisy is not played for combo payload because she does not carry — she is a crit-amplification support. The community correctly builds her into a carry's team (Meliodas + Mannie) where her buffs multiply someone else's damage. Treat her Combined-Attack table as trivia, not a team-building rule; the team above is the one that is actually run.

Build direction

Gearing Daisy as a support

Her gear priorities are uptime and survivability, not personal damage.

Because Daisy's value is buffs (Shocking Awakening uptime, Fruit Barrage availability) and not her own hits, build her for cooldown, survivability and enough Attack to keep Streetlamp/Electromagnet ticking — not a damage stat-stick. Use the community build tool below to copy a full Daisy Book support loadout, and the team builder to lock the Daisy + Mannie + carry core plus your flex against your own roster.

Quick answers

FAQ

Is Daisy a carry or a support?
On the Book — how she is run in 29 of the 30 most-popular community Daisy teams — she is a crit-amplification support: +15% team Crit Damage, −50% enemy Crit Defense on her Ultimate, and a passive that lowers enemy Crit Resistance. She does almost no damage herself. If you want a Daisy carry, that is her Sword & Shield (Earth) path, a different build entirely.
Why Meliodas as the carry?
Because the live data pairs them: Meliodas is in 21 of 30 popular Daisy teams, almost always his One-Handed Sword. His Blazing Cross hits 449% with +100% versus Darkness-Burst targets — a big single crit payload that scales hardest with Daisy's −Crit Defense / −Crit Resistance / +Crit Damage stack. If you run a different carry, the live alternatives are Escanor, Diane or Gilthunder.
Why is Mannie in almost every Daisy team?
She is the universal battery — 26 of 30. Flash Explosion resets all allies' Normal Skill cooldowns (Daisy keeps Shocking Awakening pinned, the carry refreshes), her passive refills Magic and adds +30% Ultimate damage, and Priestess's Blessing adds another +30% Crit Damage on top of Daisy's +15%.
What's the 4th slot?
Guila (10/30) is the most common — Fire support with a +30% team Fire passive and Fire-Burst. Otherwise the slot follows your carry: the live alternatives are Escanor, Diane or Gilthunder. Pick by ownership and carry element, and test in the team builder.
Is any of this invented?
No. The team comes from live community usage (the 30 most-popular published Daisy teams) and every 'why' is read from the heroes' own in-game skill data. Daisy's Combined-Attack table is reported honestly in its own section, with an explanation of why the support meta does not follow it.

Sources & method

The team is taken from real community usage (the live most-popular Daisy team feed); every mechanical reason is read directly from the heroes' own in-game skill data. Daisy's Combined-Attack table is reported separately and honestly. Nothing is invented; the rotation and the slot-4 / alt-carry order are our editorial reading of that usage plus public kits.
