The short version

Should you build Mannie?

Mannie is one of the most valuable team enablers in the game, and her three weapons split cleanly: two supports and one carry. Staff is a premier all-team support — it hands out a Crit-Damage/Magic buff, an all-resistance shred and, crucially, a +30% team Combined-Attack damage buff on her Ultimate. Dual Swords is a Cold-team buffer built on Frostbite, and Sword is the lone Attacker path, a self-contained Ice DPS.

If you only invest in one path, Staff is almost always the answer: it works in nearly any team, resets allies' Normal Skill cooldowns, and its passive turns her into one of the best Combined-Attack batteries in the game (which is why she appears in so many community comps). Dual Swords is the specialist for dedicated Cold/Frostbite teams. Sword is the niche pick when you specifically want her as a damage dealer rather than support.

Bottom line: Mannie is worth building, and Staff in particular is a near-universal support upgrade for most accounts. Pick the path that fixes a hole in your roster — a Holy support battery, a Cold buffer, or an Ice carry.

Strengths

  • Three full kits in one hero — Staff (Holy Support), Dual Swords (Ice Support), Sword (Ice Attacker).
  • Staff passive Dragon Priestess grants ALL allies +30% Combined-Attack damage for 10 sec when she Ultimates.
  • Staff Ultimate Flash Explosion resets every allied hero's Normal Skill cooldown and applies Star Trace (−20% All Element Resistance).
  • Staff Priestess's Blessing buffs allies with +30% Crit Damage and +25% Magic Charging Efficiency.
  • Dual Swords stacks Frostbite (−Crit Defence) and grants allies +15% Cold Attack plus +35% Cold damage vs max-Frostbite targets.
  • Sword's Frost Strike payoff hits 350% of Attack after 15 enhanced Normal Attacks.

Weaknesses

  • Building all three paths is expensive — most accounts realistically commit to one.
  • Her own Combined-Attack base hit is low (93%) — her value is the team buff, not personal combo damage.
  • Dual Swords is dead weight outside a Cold/Frostbite team.
  • Sword has very long cooldowns (Frost Release 31s) and a slow ramp to its Frost Strike payoff.
  • Two of three paths are pure support — low personal damage unless you commit to the Sword path.

Staff

  • Staff
  • Holy
  • Supporter

A premier all-team support and Combined-Attack battery — the path most accounts should build.

  • Passive Dragon Priestess: +30% team Combined-Attack damage for 10 sec when she Ultimates.
  • Holy Judgment applies Punishment (Holy DoT); allies' Ultimate damage +30% vs Punishment targets.

Dual Swords

  • Dual Swords
  • Ice
  • Supporter

A Cold-team buffer built on Frostbite — Crit-Defence shred plus team Cold damage amplification.

  • Frostbite: −2% Crit Defence per stack (max 10); at max, a Cold critical DoT every 1 sec.
  • Frost Spike Dash: −15% enemy Cold Resistance (max 2 stacks).
  • Ultimate Snowfield of the Void: 225%, applies Frostbite and +15% allies' Cold Attack for 40 sec.
  • Passive Priestess of Frost: +35% allies' Cold damage vs max-Frostbite targets.

Sword

  • Sword (1H)
  • Ice
  • Attacker

The lone carry path: a self-sufficient Ice DPS built around the Frost / Frost Strike payoff.

  • Frost Release: grants Frost — sword blasts on Normal Attacks (45% of Attack).
  • 15 Frost Normal Attacks unlock Frost Strike: a Reaction-immune 350%-of-Attack hit.
  • Ultimate Priestess's Barrier: a zone giving +40% Cold damage and a damage tick.
  • Passive Priestess of the Sword: vs Cold-Burst targets, +18% Crit Chance and +45% Crit Damage.
Path 1 · Holy · Supporter

Staff — the team support battery

The path most accounts should build: a near-universal support and one of the best Combined-Attack enablers in the game.

The Staff identity is pure team enabling. Priestess's Blessing hands every nearby ally Draco Priestess — +30% Crit Damage and +25% Magic Charging Efficiency for 15 seconds. Holy Judgment applies Punishment, a Holy damage-over-time that also makes the passive Dragon Priestess add +30% to allies' Ultimate damage against Punishment targets, while her Normal Attacks feed the team by restoring Magic.

The headline is her Ultimate, Flash Explosion: it resets every allied hero's Normal Skill cooldown, applies Star Trace (−20% All Element Resistance) and — via the passive — grants the whole team +30% Combined-Attack damage for 10 seconds. That single line is why Mannie is one of the most-run Combined-Attack batteries in community teams: she amplifies everyone else's payoff, not just her own.

Staff skill breakdown (from in-game data)

Path 2 · Ice · Supporter

Dual Swords — the Cold-team buffer

Not a solo carry. This path exists to make a dedicated Cold/Frostbite team hit much harder.

Dual Swords is built on Frostbite. Mannie stacks it through her kit — each Frostbite reduces the target's Crit Defence by 2% (up to 10), and at max stacks it deals a Cold critical damage-over-time every second. Frost Spike Dash shaves up to 30% Cold Resistance (two −15% stacks), and Frozen Soul Shatter scales its own damage up by 10% per Frostbite stack on the target.

The team payoff comes from the Ultimate and passive: Snowfield of the Void applies Frostbite and grants all allies +15% Cold Attack for 40 seconds, while Priestess of Frost adds +35% Cold damage for any ally hitting a max-Frostbite target. Outside a Cold/Frostbite composition that value collapses — build this path on purpose as a Cold support core.

Path 3 · Ice · Attacker

Sword — the self-sufficient Ice DPS

Her only Attacker path: a standalone Ice carry built around the Frost / Frost Strike payoff.

Sword is the path to pick when you want Mannie as a damage dealer rather than a support. Frost Release grants Frost, which adds sword blasts (45% of Attack) to her Normal Attacks; after 15 Frost Normal Attacks she can fire Frost Strike — a Reaction-immune hit for 350% of Attack. Her Ultimate, Priestess's Barrier, drops a zone that raises her Cold damage by 40% and ticks damage on enemies inside.

The passive Priestess of the Sword rewards Cold-Burst play: against a Cold-Burst target she gains +18% Crit Chance and +45% Crit Damage. It is a slower-ramping carry with long cooldowns, so it wants Cold-Burst support and patience to reach the Frost Strike payoff — but it is fully self-sufficient once online.

Sword skill breakdown (from in-game data)

  1. NormalSword Dance4-hit · 126% total

Standard combo; under Frost it gains 45%-of-Attack sword blasts.

  2. FirstFrost Blade WhirlCD 11.2s · 42 MP

    158% damage — the low-cooldown filler skill.

  3. SecondFrost ReleaseCD 31s · 230 MP

120%, then grants Frost for 20 sec; 15 Frost Normal Attacks unlock Frost Strike (350% of Attack).

  4. TagFrost Blade104%

    Tag-in hit.

  5. UltimatePriestess's BarrierCD 10s · 3 MF

10 sec zone: +40% her Cold damage and a 33%-of-Attack damage tick on enemies inside.

  6. PassivePriestess of the Sword

Attacking a Cold-Burst target: +18% Crit Chance and +45% Crit Damage.

Potential priority

Each path has its own Potential track unlocked with Mannie's Potential Points (Exchange Shop, server-capped).

Across all three paths the pattern is the same: odd levels (1, 3, 8) are flat Attack / Defense / Max HP, while even levels are the meaningful skill amplifiers. You feel the jumps at the amp levels, so prioritise reaching them.

What the amp levels actually do (per data)

  • StaffLv2 Tag +25%, Lv4 Normal Skill +20%, Lv6 +5 sec Punishment duration, Lv7 −11 sec Normal Skill cooldown under Draco Priestess, Lv9 Ultimate +20% and a larger Combined-Attack boost, Lv10 +5 sec Ultimate duration.
  • Dual SwordsLv2 Normal +20%, Lv4 Special Attack +35%, Lv6 Normal Skill +30%, Lv7 +500 Magic/Tag Gauge and −15% Cold Resistance, Lv9 Ultimate +25% and a larger ally Cold-damage boost, Lv10 Normal Skill becomes 2-charge.
  • SwordLv2 Normal +20%, Lv4 Ultimate +15%, Lv6 Frost sword-blast power +75%, Lv7 Frost Strike blasts explode for bonus damage, Lv9 Frost Strike +50%, Lv10 +10 sec Frost duration and a Chill on Frost blasts.
Weapons & skins

Weapon and gear direction

Mannie's compatible grade-5 weapons and what their passives reward.

Mannie's compatible grade-5 weapons with passives are limited, so the universal pick is Black Flame Wings (activating a Burst → +28% Attack and +6% Crit Chance for 10 sec), available on Staff, Sword and Dual Swords. Note the Gluttonous Soul Longsword grants Darkness damage — that is off-element for an Ice Sword path, so prefer Black Flame Wings or a crit-focused grade-4 there. On the support paths, raw-damage weapons matter less than her team buffs; pick whatever Burst/crit option you already own.

Notable compatible weapons (data-listed)

  • Black Flame Wings (g5)Activating a Burst → +28% Attack and +6% Crit Chance for 10 sec. Available on Staff, Sword and Dual Swords.
  • Crimson Flame (g4)Activating a Burst → +28% Attack for 10 sec — a strong budget option on every path.
  • Jet-black (g4)Using the Ultimate Move → 20% chance of +50% Crit Chance for 7 sec; useful on the Sword carry path.
  • Gluttonous Soul Longsword (g5)Each Normal Skill use → +9% Darkness damage (max 18%). Off-element for her Ice Sword — avoid in favour of Black Flame Wings.

Costumes

Mannie ships with the default Exalted Priestess costume, a grade-4 skin Heart of Prayer, and two grade-5 skins in the data: Arch Priestess's Prestige and Exploration of the Unknown.

Quick answers

FAQ

Which Mannie weapon should I build first?
Staff, almost always. It is a near-universal team support that resets allies' Normal Skill cooldowns, shreds all-element resistance and grants the whole team +30% Combined-Attack damage on her Ultimate. Build Dual Swords only for a dedicated Cold/Frostbite team, and Sword only if you specifically want her as a damage dealer.
Why is Mannie such a common Combined-Attack pick?
Her Staff passive Dragon Priestess grants all allied heroes +30% Combined-Attack damage for 10 seconds when she uses her Ultimate. She amplifies everyone else's Combined Attack rather than relying on her own (low 93%) combo hit, which makes her a near-universal battery in community teams.
Is the Dual Swords path good?
Inside a Cold/Frostbite team it is strong: it stacks Frostbite (−Crit Defence), grants allies +15% Cold Attack and adds +35% Cold damage against max-Frostbite targets. Outside a Cold composition it does very little — it is a build-around support.
Who is Mannie's best Combined-Attack partner?
By the damage values in her data, Drake (461%) is the highest, followed by Meliodas (449%) and King (433%). King anchors all three of her verified 3-hero combos (with Drake, Daisy or Gilthunder).
What does her world passive do?
Starlight Resonation highlights nearby Star Fragments by resonating with them, and it activates simply by owning her. It is a pure exploration-economy bonus with no combat effect — it does not change her damage.
