Since leaving his previous job, he hadn't bothered to think of resumes and job applications… Now, he had no choice but to polish up his old resume. He uploaded a new ID photo, replacing the original one—he nearly didn't recognize the young man in the portrait anymore—then clicked submit. —This is usually where the systems tell him "face not detected, please upload an appropriate portrait" and what not. Strangely, the file was submitted without issue. Skia let out a quiet sigh of relief. Although he had long since stopped caring about facing prejudice based on his looks, having to make an extra trip to compensate for system inadequacies and disrupting his established workflow… that would have been truly intolerable.

Reaching the edge of elevated positions and moving forward also cancels the mode.
