How to access the Ananta beta

No Ananta test is open right now. NetEase has run one closed test (CBT1, January 2026); the only legitimate sign-up channel is https://www.anantagame.com/, and a beta will not carry progress to launch. Here's exactly what is confirmed.

The short version

The whole answer in one scan. The detail below just backs it up.

  • No test is open right now

NetEase has run a test for Ananta (CBT1, January 2026), but none is open for sign-up right now. The only useful move is to register interest at https://www.anantagame.com/ and watch for the next announcement.

  • How invites actually work

NetEase has not disclosed how Ananta beta invitations are distributed. Assume nothing is guaranteed — pre-registering may help but has not been confirmed to grant access.

  • What a beta is not

A pre-launch test is not the launch game and not early access you keep. Progress typically wipes, and NetEase has not confirmed save migration for Ananta.

Closed Technical Test #1 — what was testable

CBT1 — January 16-20, 2026 · China only (CN-region accounts) · Completed (closed / invite-only)

  • Playable cast in CBT1

The Captain, Taffy, Richie. Other characters were not in the build.

  • Main-story chapters tested

5 chapter slots from the main story were open during the test window.

  • Systems exercised

Nova City open-world exploration (Residential, Commercial and Financial districts); Real-time combat with the L1/R1 two-button core; 3C System traversal (parkour, climbing, swimming, grapple-swing); Vehicles (motorcycles, cars, helicopters, public transit); Character ability layouts (basic + cooldown + attack-charged skill); Character customisation (outfit and personal vehicle paint); Special story missions and side activities; Street challenges and interactive open-world hotspots.

  • Excluded from the CBT1 build

Co-op multiplayer mode (offline build only); Lykaia and the secondary roster (Aileen, Alan, Bansy, Dila, Mechanika, Ringo); Late-game story arcs (only five early main-chapter slots opened); Final monetisation surfaces (no live cosmetic store).

CBT2 and open beta status

  • CBT2 — not yet announced

NetEase has not publicly scheduled a second closed test as of June 2026. The most likely surface for a CBT2 announcement is anantagame.com plus the @Ananta_News X account.

  • Open beta — not yet announced

No open-beta phase has been confirmed. The launch window for the 1.0 release (2026 target) has been the only schedule milestone publicly committed to.

What is actually confirmed about sign-up

  • Pre-registration channel

Open at https://www.anantagame.com/. NetEase has not stated whether pre-registered accounts get priority beta invites — register anyway, the downside is zero.

  • Invitation method

NetEase has not disclosed how Ananta beta invites are distributed.

  • Client + region

CBT1 was PC only, China only (CN-region accounts).

Should you chase the beta?

Who actually benefits from getting in — and who loses nothing by skipping it.

  • Chase it if…

…you enjoy testing rough builds, reporting bugs and previewing systems early — and you accept the build is incomplete and your progress will likely be wiped.

  • Skip it if…

…you want the finished game. A beta will not give you a head start that carries to launch, so waiting costs you nothing but a preview.

Common mistakes to avoid

The beta traps that waste time or risk a ban.

  • “Beta key” / “early access” sites

Only https://www.anantagame.com/ is a confirmed channel. Sites selling or gifting Ananta beta keys for an unreleased game are not endorsed by NetEase.

  • Treating a test build as the real game

Balance, content and performance in a pre-launch test do not represent launch — judging Ananta from beta footage is premature.
