Overview

Who is Seymour?

Seymour is the team's tech and tracking specialist. He operates from a customised RV that doubles as workshop and surveillance post, hides his face behind a strange mask, and presents himself as a tracking genius able to locate any target as long as there's a signal to chase. His gameplay leans on a reconnaissance drone to scout enemies and on hacking the city itself — billboards and giant screens — for a stealth-first, Watch Dogs-style approach rather than head-on combat. He rounds out the four-archetype design NetEase showed at TGS 2025 (cop, delivery, hacker/tracker, lead). Community sources add an origin with a shadowy tech outfit called 'Eonbug' and an Esper typing, neither of which NetEase has confirmed. (Note: the cryogenic yo-yo sometimes attributed to him actually belongs to Alan.)

Identity

Role & affiliation

Role
Hacker / tracker — RV-based tech operative
Faction
Anti-Chaos Directorate (A.C.D.) — tech specialist. Community sources tie his origin to a shadowy tech outfit ('Eonbug'); that affiliation isn't confirmed by NetEase.
Esper / status
Identity behind the mask is not publicly disclosed.
Combat

How they fight

Stealth-and-tech rather than brawling. He deploys a recon drone to scout enemies, hacks billboards and screens to bend the environment in his favour, and resolves fights through preparation and quick, surgical strikes — closer to a Watch Dogs-style operative than a frontline fighter. Explicitly contrasted with Richie's close-quarters brawler kit.

Signature weapon
Drones and hacking gear. Hands-on demos show a reconnaissance drone (described as spider-like) used to scout enemies, plus the ability to hack the urban environment — billboards and giant screens — in a stealthy, Watch Dogs-style approach.
Progression

Day-job & progression

Tech-specialist day-job — the hacker archetype from the September 2025 NetEase press release (surveillance, signal-tracking, tech intervention). His loop is reportedly gated by selectivity: he only pursues targets he considers worth his time, tying his progression to higher-profile or genuinely serious incidents rather than routine patrol.

Character

Personality

Secretive, selective, and quietly attention-seeking. He keeps his face hidden behind a strange mask he refuses to discuss, and only goes after targets he deems headline-worthy or genuinely serious. The mix of secrecy about himself and aggressive curiosity about his marks is his defining through-line.
