Version 1.3: Rising from the Moonlit Fog Recap

Version 1.3's centrepiece is a new main-story chapter, also called Rising from the Moonlit Fog, that closes out the Scarlet Letter arc — picking up the thread left by Version 1.1's Corridor of Echoes. The update launched globally on August 19, 2026.

It opens up two brand-new areas. Fogden is an everchanging landscape, staged by the Scarlet Letter as a simulated game for you to play through. Duskmoor is a forest-themed district built around driving — new roads and pavements, plus a ramp that launches your car into the skies.

Zankou headlines the first half of 1.3. She is an Incantation Main DPS Esper who fights with Gas Arcs, and her whole identity is her Eye of Delusion, which conjoins reality and illusion during her rotations.

• Banner. First-half limited board, running from launch (Aug 19) into the second half on Sep 9.

Linko arrives in the second half. An ETD-6 member who operates alongside her Anomaly partner Xiaozhen, she is an Anima Esper who uses Plasma Arcs. Her kit smooths out Esper Cycles by constantly synchronising attacks with the team while adding follow-up hits through her Esper Ability.

• Banner. “Surfing All Channels!”, Sep 9 – Sep 30, 2026, with a Hotori rerun running alongside her.
• Signature Arc. Voice of the Voyager (5★ Plasma), released on its own Arc research program.
• Outfits. Three looks — Couch Potato (Bond Lv 10), Surfing Among the Stars (banner reward) and Faded Spring.

The two S-Rank boards run back to back across the version, each with its own Arc research program.

• Phase 1 — Zankou. Limited board from Aug 19 to Sep 9, 2026.
• Phase 2 — Linko + Hotori. “Surfing All Channels!” brings Linko, with a Hotori rerun beside her, from Sep 9 to Sep 30, 2026.
• Arc program. Linko's signature, Voice of the Voyager, releases on a matching Arc board.

1.3 leans into a summer theme with a run of limited events across both halves.

• Runaway Echoes. The flagship: an ARPG-style wave-survival mode inside an Anomalous Realm — cut down hordes, collect EXP orbs and pick upgrade cards to last as long as you can.
• More limited events. Volley Star, Surf Breaker, Bagel Supplies and Hunter's Crucible join the lineup across the version.
• Recurring rewards. Stamina Recharge, Gold Clash, Pixel Surge and Fons Rush round out the slate.

Alongside the story and characters, 1.3 adds new summer-themed outfits, another stacked Mystery Box and brand-new vehicles — a natural fit for Duskmoor's driving focus.

The Preview Special Program handed out three redemption codes. Their window closed on August 10, 2026 at 23:59 (UTC+8), so they no longer work — they are listed here only as a record of the broadcast.

• FOGDENGAME (expired). 100 Annuliths, 5 Rising Hunter Guides, 5 Light Dyes, 4,000 Beetle Coins.
• EYEOFDELUSION (expired). 100 Annuliths, 5 Senior Hunter Guides, 5 Colorless Dyes, 6,000 Beetle Coins.
• SUMMERTIME (expired). 100 Annuliths plus upgrade materials and Beetle Coins.

The program also teased a character not yet playable: Nitsa, another member of the ETD-6 team Linko belongs to. No release window was given on the broadcast.
