Deep stat system similar to Pokémon IVs. Understanding these mechanics from the start will save you from wasting resources.

Key takeaways

  • Don't boost your first captured Aniimo — explore first to find better options.
  • The Potential Value (1–5) is fixed from capture — it cannot be changed.
  • A high Potential reduces the Astranite cost to max the matching stat.
  • Limit of 30 upgrades per Aniimo — focus on 2 priority stats.

Rarity Tiers

CommonThe lowest. Avoid for your main Aniimo.
Good / UncommonAcceptable to start with. Stats slightly better than Common.
EliteSolid baseline pick. Stats clearly above lower tiers.
PerfectEquivalent of perfect Pokémon IVs. Best possible stat profile for the species.
Sparkling Aniimo are above Perfect in rarity, but provide no stat advantage — visual rarity only.

Potential Value — The Pokémon IVs Equivalent

On capture, each stat receives a random value from 1 to 5.
These values are immutable — they cannot be changed directly.
Example: two captured Celestis may have Magical ATK 4 vs Magical ATK 2. The first will be stronger in that area, regardless of investment.
TakeawayAim for a Potential of 3 to 4 minimum in your Aniimo's priority stat before investing Astranites.

Growth Value — Astranites

Astranites increase the Growth Value of a stat up to a maximum of 10.
Potential / Cost relation: the higher the Potential Value, the less Astranites cost to max that stat. Potential 5 is far cheaper to max than Potential 1.
Total cap: 30 upgrades per Aniimo. Plan carefully before investing.
TipMax 2 priority stats (the ones that define the role). The 3rd upgrade depends on your playstyle.

Family Value — Natural Specialization

Each Aniimo has a Family Value that indicates its main natural stat.

Example: Bonesky (toward Glynsera) — main stat: HP + Physical ATK. For this Aniimo, aiming for a Potential of 3–4 in Physical ATK is the priority.

Check the wiki or in-game Aniilog for each Aniimo's Family Value before investing.

Personalities — MBTI System

Each Aniimo has a personality type expressed by a combination of letters (MBTI-style, e.g., ISTP). Each letter corresponds to a slight stat bonus. Aniimo often have a mix of two personalities — adapt to the role you want.

Noisy (Blue — Beta 1)

+5% Physical ATK + Magical ATK

Perspicacious (Red — Beta 1)

+5% Crit Rate

Shy (Beta 2)

+5% Speed

Practical

+5% Damage

Distant

+5% Defense

Spontaneous

+5% Damage Reduction

Traits — Passive Skills

Each Aniimo has 1 Common Trait (active by default) and 1 Rare Trait (the best passive, to be unlocked).
Use a Trait Fruit to unlock the Rare Trait.
The Trait Fruit also lets you switch between variants — some Common Traits can be better than Rare ones depending on your team.
Purchasable in the shop with in-game currency — no premium currency required.
Sparkling Aniimo always have their Rare Trait pre-unlocked.
Aniimo obtained via Culture have better chances of high Potential and a higher Sparkling rate.
TakeawayCulture is your best ally to get an optimized Aniimo — stats, traits, and Sparkling chance are all improved.

Resonance — Crossing Level Thresholds

To progress beyond certain thresholds (e.g., level 40 → 45), Resonance is required.
Materials: Species-specific Crystals (obtained by capturing/defeating Aniimo from the evolution line) + Astranite Shards (boss chests via daily energy).
Each Resonance tier grants slight stat bonuses + Skill Points (Pokémon EV equivalent).
Alternative: trade Glints with Jeff the outpost vendor for Universal Crystals — avoids farming a single zone endlessly.
Beta noteThese mechanics were present and stable in Beta 1 and Beta 2. The exact personality bonus values may be adjusted at launch (2026).
