Core concepts

  • Aniimo

The collectible creatures the game is named after. Players capture, train, evolve and Twine with Aniimo.

  • Aniilog

The official Aniimo encyclopedia. Currently lists 88 numbered Aniimo plus a small number of unindexed specials.

  • Pathfinder

The customizable human player avatar. Travels with up to three active Aniimo and switches between trainer and Twined modes.

  • Aniilog NO.

Each Aniimo's stable numeric index in the Aniilog. NO.001 is Emberpup.

  • Aniimaster

Player title sometimes used in marketing for an experienced Aniimo trainer.

  • Legendary

Highest Aniimo tier. Irelia, the first confirmed Legendary, is unlocked through a story arc introduced in the 'Paws Up' closed beta.

Gameplay systems

  • Twining

The signature merge mechanic. Synchronize with an Aniimo to take direct control of it — gaining its movement options and full skill kit.

  • Resonance Training

The level-gated power progression tier system applied to each Aniimo.

  • Lumin / Gamma / Nova

The three evolution stages every Aniimo passes through during progression.

  • Homeland

A personal customizable home base where players farm, decorate and house Aniimo.

Items

  • Aniipod

Capture pods used to catch wild Aniimo. Higher tiers improve capture rate.

  • Astranite

A consumable item with Basic / Standard / Advanced tiers used in Aniimo progression.

  • Tumbler / Tumble Capsule

Secondary capture item that multiplies capture success in dense spawn zones — used for mass captures.

  • Dewdrop Crystals

Per-family material earned from duplicate captures, spent on Resonance (Star Up and Ascension bonuses).

Game modes

  • Egg Heist

The 3v3 PvPvE mode introduced in Paws Up CB2. Teams of three raid sanctums on the Lost Isles to steal Aniimo eggs.

  • Diamond Egg Heist

Expanded PvPvE Egg Heist announced for the global closed beta — up to six teams of three compete for eggs.

  • Sanctum

Puzzle-style mini-dungeon scattered across Idyll, solo or co-op, requiring Aniimo abilities to clear.

Variants

  • Sparkling Form

A rare visual variant of an Aniimo with a sparkling appearance, similar to a shiny variant in other creature collectors.

  • Regional Form

An Aniimo variant exclusive to a specific region of Idyll. Forest Form Sparki and Forest Form Wisptis are CB2-revealed examples.

  • Prismana

    A rarer prismatic Aniimo variant.

World

  • Idyll

The official name of the Aniimo world. Comprises 15+ regions across forests, coasts, fields, ridges and isles.

  • Astra

Futuristic neon hub city of Idyll — accessory shops, decorative buildings and a clothing store open with the summer 2026 global closed beta.

  • Island of Peace

Aquatic region announced for the summer 2026 global closed beta.

Roles

  • DPS / Heal / Support / Break / Regen

The five battle roles assigned to each Aniimo. Roles inform party composition.

Elements

  • Light / Fire / Ice / Dark / Lightning / Grass / Water / Earth / Wind

The nine elemental types every Aniimo carries one or two of. Elements drive weakness coverage.
