TL;DR — 5 Steps

  1. Fast-travel to Bluebeard RoadBridge Crossings district. The phone booth on Bluebeard Road drops you out close to the Cafe by Origen storefront.
  2. Find the Cafe's back alleyThe cafe has an orange awning that's hard to miss. The trigger is in the narrow alley between the cafe wall and the building behind it — not in the cafe itself.
  3. Pick the provocation dialogThree choices. "Don't you have the guts to fight fair? Coward!" extends the timer from 30 s to 180 s. Without the extension the fight is genuinely unwinnable for an under-geared roster.
  4. Burn Ora Puncher downNo phase change, no element gate. Standard Lv II HP. Use the open alley length to kite the heavy hook without getting cornered against the dumpsters.
  5. Loot Oraora!, repeat for refinementFirst clear is guaranteed. Reclear for refinement shards; Rooftop Boxer, Court Boxer and Party Boxer also drop Oraora! for parallel refinement routes.

Reaching the Alley

  1. Open the world map and fast-travel to the Bluebeard Road phone booth in Bridge Crossings.
  2. Walk along Bluebeard Road until you spot the bright orange awning of The Cafe by Origen — it's a known landmark for several other anomalies in the area.
  3. Don't enter the cafe. Slip down the narrow service alley between the cafe's exterior wall and the building immediately behind it.
  4. Roughly halfway down the alley, Ora Puncher leans against the wall waiting for a fight.
  5. Initiate dialog — three response options appear.
  6. Pick "Don't you have the guts to fight fair? Coward!" — this is the 180-second timer option.
  7. The arena locks to the alley footprint, Ora Puncher takes a fighting stance, and the timer starts on the next frame.
  8. Defeat Ora Puncher inside 180 seconds to clear the commission and trigger the Oraora! Arc drop.

Boss: Ora Puncher

A boxer-themed anomaly entity with a small, tight kit: parry-leaning jab strings, a heavy hook on the longest tell, and a feint that catches greedy parry attempts. Backstreet Boxer's alley arena is the most generous of the three Lv II Ora Puncher locations — long enough to kite the hook, narrow enough that no clone can blind-side you. Use this commission as the first-time learning ground for the parry rhythm.

Jab string

Parry

Tell: Quick step forward, lead shoulder dips before the punch.

Each jab is independently parryable. Drop into a parry loop on this attack to top up your Oraora! stack count once the Arc is equipped — it ramps the wearer's Basic Attack DMG by 2-3.6% per stack.

Heavy hook

Dodge

Tell: Ora Puncher pivots their hips and the punching arm winds back fully — visibly longer than the jab.

The biggest single hit in the fight. Don't try to parry — hyper-armour eats most parry attempts and the trade leaves you in red HP. Dodge laterally toward Ora Puncher's parry-side to keep your camera and bursts going.

Feint

Hold

Tell: Shoulder dip without follow-through (the same starting frame as the jab, but the arm never extends).

Counters greedy parry players. If you parry on the dip and Ora Puncher feints, you eat the actual jab one beat later. The fix: parry on the punch frame, not the dip frame.

The Reward — Oraora!

A-RankPlasma
Base ATK lv 1 → lv 8025 → 395
Substat ATK% lv 1 → lv 8015% → 37.5%
Passive — Ora PuncherEach time the wearer deals damage with a Basic Attack, their Basic Attack DMG dealt is increased by 2.00% (R1) → 2.40% (R2) → 2.80% (R3) → 3.20% (R4) → 3.60% (R5). Lasts 10 s. Stacks up to 10 times. Max bonus: +20% Basic Attack DMG at R1, +36% at R5.
Refinement5 refinement levels. Each refinement adds +0.40 percentage points per stack — the difference between R1 and R5 at full 10 stacks is +16 percentage points of basic-attack damage. Worth pushing to R5 since the Arc lives on the stacked basic-attack multiplier.
Best usersNanally (S-Rank — basic-attack heavy DPS rotation feeds the ramp inside Ichi-daime), Aurelia (A-Rank — her psyche burst loops also lean on basic-attack chains). Less interesting on Esper Cycle DPS who finish encounters from Skill / Ultimate hits.

Best free A-Rank Plasma Arc for basic-attack DPS rotations. The fact that four anomalies share this drop (Backstreet, Rooftop, Court, Party Boxer) means R5 is genuinely achievable in 4 weeks without duplicate luck.

Pro Tips & Common Pitfalls

  • ALWAYS pick the provoke dialog. The polite "Please spar with me!" line sets a 30-second timer that's only beatable with a fully meta-geared roster — wasting an attempt costs the same as a real clear.
  • The "Just passing by…" line dismisses Ora Puncher entirely without spawning the fight. Useful if you walked into the trigger before you were ready, but not a softer fight.
  • The alley arena is the longest of the three Ora Puncher locations — use that to your advantage. Open up a wide kite distance and force the heavy hook to whiff before counter-bursting.
  • Same Ora Puncher pattern as Rooftop Boxer and Court Boxer — once you've mastered the parry rhythm here, both of the other locations are mechanically identical clears.
  • Party Boxer (Lv IV) is the same Arc but a different boss-tier fight. Lv II Boxers are the convenient farm route; Party Boxer is the higher-payout fight for the larger commission currency bundle.
  • Refinement plan: this commission + Rooftop Boxer + Court Boxer + Party Boxer = 4 Oraora! shards per weekly cycle. R1 → R5 in 5 weeks without any luck-based duplicate drops.
