Five things to know (and two to do today)

1. Clotho came out of the week stronger, not weaker. The June 9 server patch closed a buff-stacking inconsistency on her Grimoire path, then over-compensated: her Rune Ward aura doubled to +40% Cold Damage (plus a bigger Max-HP rider, cap 4,000), and Head Scholar's Formality now grants up to 20% Crit Chance and 50% Crit Damage to Cold allies. Net result: stronger than before the fix.

2. Claim your compensation. Everyone got 3,000 Star Fragments, 10 Element Spell Bead Selection Chests and engraving materials in the mailbox. It expires June 23 at 14:59 UTC, that's before the next patch.

3. Don't trust the in-game tooltips on Clotho until June 24. The buff is live, but the skill and gear descriptions still show the old numbers until the June 24 maintenance. Our Clotho pages already carry the live values.

4. June 24 is the wall. The Merlin and Daisy banners, the Merlin Trial, the exclusive skin draws, the Conqueror's Path raid missions (the 'Always Available' label is a confirmed display bug) and Leaderboard Pre-Season 2 all end at that maintenance.

5. The devs are taking questions. AMA Season 2 runs on the official Discord June 12–17, with the first written answers landing June 18, historically where roadmap hints show up.

The Clotho patch: a fix that ended as a buff

What actually changed on June 9, with exact before/after numbers from the official notice.

On June 9 Netmarble shipped a server patch aimed at one inconsistency: on Clotho's Grimoire path, the Cold Attack and Cold Damage from her Rune Ward aura was stacking with the Stable Barrier buff from her Head Scholar's Formality engraved gear in a way that wasn't intended. The fix landed, and because players would have felt the raw fix as a nerf, Netmarble raised both effects above their old values in the same patch.

Exact before → after

Rune Ward (Frost Rune: Perfect Form, Grimoire ultimate) — At max stacks: Cold Damage +20% → +40%, and Cold Attack worth 4.5% → 6% of her Max HP, cap raised 3,000 → 4,000. Her aura literally doubled.
Stable Barrier (Head Scholar's Formality engraved gear) — Allied Cold heroes now gain 10/15/20% Crit Chance (was 9/12/15%) and 30/40/50% Crit Damage (was 24/30/36%, the official notice misprints the old first value as “4%”; the in-game text reads 24%). The core of the Grimoire support build got meaningfully stronger.
What was removed — The unintended stacking between the two effects above. With the raised numbers, the official intent is that she ends up ahead of where she was, and on a full Cold team, she does.

The quiet fixes you may have been hit by

The June 5 server patch and the recommended update that followed on every platform by June 8.

What got fixed

Weapon Mastery Potential Points — Hero Potential Points were intermittently not granted when completing a Weapon Mastery. Fixed server-side on June 5, but if it happened to you before the fix, the points are NOT restored automatically: Netmarble says to contact Customer Support.
Timespace Junction crash with Merlin — The game could crash when exiting Timespace Junction with Merlin on the team. Fixed in the recommended update (live on all platforms since June 8, PS5, Steam and iOS got it June 5, Android June 8).
Act 14 cutscene camera — Skipping a specific cutscene in Act 14, Episode 18 could break the camera angle. Fixed June 8.
Liones Castle phantom quests — Unclaimable quests displayed in the Liones Castle region. Fixed June 8.

Known issues · updated June 12

What's still broken (officially)

Netmarble's known-issues list was updated the morning of June 12, these are the ones that affect how you play.

Two new entries landed this week on top of the launch-week list. None of them require action on your side, but knowing them saves you a support ticket, or a wasted raid run.

The ones that matter

Taranis's Sanctuary rewards (added June 12) — Players are intermittently unable to claim rewards after clearing the raid. Under investigation, if your weekly clear pays nothing, it's this bug, not your key count.
Combined Attack misfires (added June 11) — Combined Attack performance can apply abnormally depending on transition timing after certain heroes' Ultimate Moves. If your Combined hits feel inconsistent this week, it's acknowledged and official.
Conqueror's Path shows 'Always Available' — Display bug, the raid mission track actually ends at the June 24 maintenance. Don't sit on those missions.
Black King & Queen lockout — After dying and reviving during the Black King and Queen elite fight in the raid, you can fail to re-enter the boss area. Official workaround: reconnect to the game.
Smaller ones — Mobile UI breaking when a controller is connected inside the raid, the Act 14 skip button intermittently refusing to skip, a Burst Gauge that looks active when it isn't, the quest tracker not refreshing after a warp, pets misbehaving while climbing, and characters occasionally falling through the floor (this last one is slated for a future update, not June 24).

AMA Season 2: ask the devs, answers June 18

The second official Ask-Me-Anything opened on the game's Discord on June 12.

Netmarble opened the second AMA on the official Discord: questions are collected June 12 (07:00 UTC) through June 17 (06:59 UTC) in the dedicated AMA channel, and the development team publishes the first round of written answers as a notice on Thursday, June 18, with more to follow if the volume is high. The suggested categories are gameplay & mechanics, community & platforms, content, suggestions and everything else.

Worth watching even if you don't ask anything: the Season 1 format produced direct developer answers, and the June 18 notice is the most likely place for early hints about what comes after 1.5. We'll fold anything concrete into the guides as soon as it's published.

The same maintenance finally corrects the Clotho descriptions. If you're still on the fence about Merlin or Daisy, decide before this date.
June 30, 14:59 UTC: Twitch Drops end — Up to 2 hours of watch time pays Premium Mastery EXP, Refinement and Enhancement Stones, Gold and a Regular Hero Draw Ticket. Rewards sit in your Twitch Drops inventory and expire 10 days after being earned, claim them there, then check your in-game mailbox.
