Step-by-Step Walkthrough
- Open the world map and fast-travel to the Saint Torres Avenue phone booth in Miguel District.
- Head southwest from the booth. The second building next to the Puka signboard is the target — push through the double glass doors at the entrance.
- Walk to the far end of the ground-floor lobby. The elevator is at the back.
- Inside the elevator, press 7F on the button panel.
- Exit onto the 7th floor. Walk to the end of the corridor and pick up the Repair Switch from the floor / counter at the dead end.
- Returning to the elevator triggers the malfunction: three buttons drop off the panel and scatter on the hallway floor.
- Walk the hallway to recover all three buttons. Black goo puddles cover sections of the floor — they tick damage on contact. Side-step around them rather than sprinting through.
- After the buttons, follow the ringing sound to the phone at the far end of the hallway. Answer the call.
- Re-enter the elevator. Press one of the recovered buttons. The doors stick and the alarm fires — select Force Start to override.
- The elevator drops to a flooded bathroom. Black goo coats the floor; the sink is the only interactable.
- Walk to the sink and choose the Tighten the Faucet prompt. The leak is sealed, the goo recedes, the commission completes.
- Return to the elevator, press 1F, exit through the glass doors. You're back on the street.

Pro Tips & Common Pitfalls
- The black goo puddles do not regenerate on touch — they're terrain hazards. Mapping a path that hugs the walls is usually the safest route between the three button drops.
- Force Start is only available AFTER you've pressed a button and the alarm has triggered. Don't try to skip the malfunction by hammering buttons — the option only appears post-alarm.
- If you miss answering the phone, the elevator does not progress to the bathroom phase. Make a full lap of the hallway and confirm you've heard the ring before returning to the lift.
- The Saint Torres Avenue phone booth is the closest fast-travel point. If the marker leads you to the wrong building, look for the Puka signboard — it's the visual anchor.
