  2. Drag to the red marker → fix the stairsActivate the projector. Move the slide on the progress bar toward the red zone — the staircase rebuilds in real time.
  3. Switch the projector OFF to clear the doorOnce the stairs hold, turn the projector off. The door blocking your path disappears.
  4. Collect three blue orbs across the roomsHallway projector → first orb (left). Lower chamber → defeat the bookshelf enemy → align another projector. Right passage → second orb. Final room → third orb.
  5. Interact with the camera to finishThe final room hosts a camera. Touch it to close the anomaly and drop Failing You, Heavy in My Heart into your inventory.

Step-by-Step Walkthrough

  1. Travel to Illusion Town and follow the commission tracking line northeast of Davidia Avenue. The alley between two buildings is the visual anchor.
  2. Walk into the alley and locate the Spacetime Projector at the centre of the marked circle. Interact to enter the Anomalous Realm door it opens.
  3. First Spacetime Projector inside: drag the progress slide to the red marker. The film playback aligns and the broken stairs reform.
  4. Walk past the door blocking the next area, then turn the same projector OFF. The door dissipates because the projection holding it is gone.
  5. In the main hallway, drag the next projector to the LEFT red area. Pick up the first blue orb that materialises. Switch off the freshly spawned projector before continuing.
  6. Drop down to the lower chamber. Defeat the bookshelf enemy (single fight, no special mechanics).
  7. Activate the lower chamber's projector and drag to its red marker. New paths open back to the main hallway.
  8. Re-visit the main hallway projector — this time drag to the RIGHT red area. Take the right passage that opens up and collect the second blue orb.
  9. Continue forward to the final room. The third blue orb sits inside.
  10. Interact with the camera placed in the final room. The realm collapses, the commission completes, and the Arc drops to your inventory.

The Reward — Failing You, Heavy in My Heart

TypeBreak Intensity
PassiveHigh Break Intensity substat — built for stagger-focused casters and break supports. Pairs with characters whose role is breaking enemy stagger bars to set up burst windows.
Best usersCaster sub-DPS with Break Intensity scaling — Daffodill being the obvious fit, Baicang and Sakiri also benefit. Slot it on whichever character carries the break duty in your team.

A specialist Arc, not a damage Arc. Worthwhile if you run a break composition (Discord cycle, Stain cycle with break support). Skip if you only run pure-damage compositions where Break Intensity doesn't enter the rotation.

Pro Tips

  • The hallway projector is used twice — once for the LEFT red area (first orb), once for the RIGHT (second orb). Don't assume one drag per projector; some require multiple states.
  • Always turn the active projector OFF after using it. Lingering projections block doors and trap you in loops.
  • The bookshelf enemy in the lower chamber is the only combat. Standard mid-Hunter fight — no element gating.
  • Break Intensity Arcs only shine on supports built around stagger. If your roster doesn't include a break-cycle support, the Arc still works as a generic A-Rank — but you'll get more value out of an ATK-focused alternative.
