Prayers for Clear Skies — Rain-sweeping Maid
One of the few peaceful anomaly commissions in the game. Walk to the house north of Ironheart 9th Avenue, find the calm-form Rain-sweeping Maid, use the soothe interaction. No fight, no parry, no dodge. The violent twin of this commission is Clearing After Snowfall — same Maid, different state.

- Fast-travel to Ironheart 9th AvenueMiguel District. The Ironheart phone booth is the closest fast-travel anchor for both Rain-sweeping Maid anomalies.
- Walk north to the residential blockThe trigger house is just north of Ironheart 9th Avenue. A single-storey detached home with a small front porch — easy to identify visually.
- Spot the Rain-sweeping MaidShe hangs outside the house in a calm posture, sweeping the rain off the porch. No combat stance, no aggression.
- Soothe her, don't attackThis is the peaceful resolution. Use the soothe prompt — there is no fight, no parry, no dodge mechanic. Just interact with her gently.
- Loot the commission payoutStandard Lv I rewards. The opposite resolution (attacking her frozen-statue form) is the Clearing After Snowfall anomaly — a separate commission.
Reaching the House
- Open the world map and fast-travel to the Ironheart 9th Avenue phone booth in Miguel District.
- Walk a short distance north into the residential block.
- Look for a detached single-storey house with a small front porch — the trigger is at this house specifically, not the neighbours.
- The Rain-sweeping Maid hangs outside, sweeping the porch in a calm rhythm. No combat indicator appears.
- Approach her and use the soothe interaction prompt.
- The interaction resolves peacefully — no combat phase. The commission completes immediately after the soothe sequence ends.
Encounter: Rain-sweeping Maid (calm form)
Prayers for Clear Skies is one of the very few NTE anomaly commissions resolved through dialogue / interaction rather than combat. The Rain-sweeping Maid is sad rather than hostile in this version — the calm-form Maid asks for relief from the rain, and the resolution is to soothe her, not fight her. There is no attack pattern to learn. If you're looking for the version where she goes berserk, that's the Clearing After Snowfall commission.
No combat phase
InteractTell: The Maid does not initiate combat at any point — her sweeping animation continues until the interact prompt is used.
If a combat ring appears during the trigger sequence, you've walked into Clearing After Snowfall by mistake. Back off and check the commission name on the screen.
Team Requirements
No team requirements
Pure interaction — no fight, no element gate, no DPS check
Any 4-rosterSolo travel team is fine — this commission has zero combat
Bring whichever team you happened to be running. Prayers for Clear Skies completes on a single interaction prompt — your roster has no effect on the resolution.

Pro Tips & Common Pitfalls
- This is the peaceful Maid commission. The violent one is Clearing After Snowfall — same NPC, different state (frozen statue rather than active sweeping).
- If you walk up to the Maid in combat stance, you may auto-trigger Clearing After Snowfall instead. Sheathe weapons before approaching to ensure the soothe prompt appears.
- Prayers for Clear Skies is a Lv I commission with no Arc reward. Run it once for the achievement / commission slot and don't burn time on reclears.
- Some players miss this commission because the calm Maid blends into ambient NPC animations. Double-check that the house you're at is the trigger location — if no commission prompt appears, you have the wrong house.
- Run Prayers for Clear Skies and Clearing After Snowfall back-to-back if you can. They're both Miguel District residential-house Maid anomalies and you can clear the cycle in under five minutes total.
