TL;DR — 5 Steps
- Travel to Bluebeard RoadBridge Crossings, north of Wertheimer Tower. Follow the commission tracking line — the explosion site is the visual anchor.
- Activate the Spacetime ProjectorPick up the projector at the scene. It lets you rewind the past footage of the explosion incident.
- Rewind → align → analyze (×3)Rewind the footage, align it to the red marker, examine the glowing clue that appears, return to the present, repeat. Three clues uncovered this way.
- Clear the enemy waveAfter the third clue, anomaly enemies spawn at the scene. Standard combat, no element gating.
- Final rewind + analyzeOne last Spacetime Projector loop on the fourth clue closes the case and completes the commission.
The Investigation Loop
The whole commission is built around one repeating mechanic: rewind the Spacetime Projector, lock onto the red marker, examine the clue that appears, return to the present. The fourth iteration also requires clearing an enemy wave first.
- Pick up the Spacetime ProjectorThe device is staged at the Bluebeard Road site. It's the only interactable that lets you scrub the timeline of past events — without it, no clue triggers fire.
- Rewind the footageTrigger the projector to scrub backward through the past timeline. The visual replays the moments leading up to the explosion at sped-up speed.
- Align to the red markerA red marker appears on the timeline scrubber. Stop the rewind exactly at that marker — partial alignment doesn't count, the marker has a tight lock window.
- Examine the glowing clueWhen the marker locks, a glowing object materialises in the scene at the past time. Walk to it and inspect — that's a clue. Return to the present.
- Repeat for clues 2 and 3Same loop: rewind → align → examine → return. Each clue moves the investigation forward and unlocks the next marker location.
- Defeat the enemy spawnAfter the third clue is analysed, anomaly enemies materialise at the scene. Standard combat, no element gating. Clear them to unlock the final scrub.
- Final rewind + analyzeUse the projector one last time on the fourth clue. The case resolves, the commission closes, and the rewards drop to your inbox.

Pro Tips
- The red marker tolerance is tighter than it looks. Slow your scrub speed before approaching the marker — overshooting forces a full re-rewind.
- Don't try to find the clue manually before aligning. It only spawns when the marker locks — searching the scene early returns no prompt.
- The enemy wave between clue 3 and clue 4 is the only combat. No team-comp or element prep needed beyond your standard exploration party.
- If your projector seems to do nothing, check the prerequisite — Prologue Part 2 must be cleared. Without it, the device exists but the timeline is empty.
